Love a locally owned spot that has quick pizza pickup! Super friendly staff as well. My go to is their Florentine chicken - white sauce, chicken breast, ricotta and mozzarella, spinach, onions, garlic and tomato. Super flavorful and perfectly crispy, but not burnt, crust. So many other unique options to choose from, including Philly steak, bbq chicken, seafood, and more.

The pizza we always get from here always tastes fresh and it always comes how we order it. The people who work down there are always friendly. If we order delivery the drivers are always kind and speedy and our pizza is always warm and not smashed. They have been very accommodating when I've needed to pick a pizza up sooner as well. This is my go to pizza spot because of the employees and the freshness of our pizza every time.

That was the 2nd worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Bland beyond all reason, yet somehow the little bit of flavor that it did have was nauseating. My guesses are the dough contains no salt; the sauce, no herbs/spices; and the cheese and toppings are the cheapest on the market. I was eating a late dinner after skipping lunch, I was ravenous and could only choke down a slice and a half. I'm surprised this place is in business, Southbury has far better options, including the freezer isles in the grocery stores.Oh, and our mushroom topping was laughable. One slice had 80% of the mushrooms, the rest of the pie has maaaaybe 1-2 nibbles of mushroom per slice.

Gotta be the WORST Boneless Chicken Wings I've ever had. Consistently. Have had the boneless wings from this place twice and twice now the meat has just been dry and tough, basically the worst type of chicken you can buy for boneless Wings. The curly fries are the same. Just dry and over cooked. The pizza is extremely mediocre. Save yourself a bad experience and go else where.

Best gluten free pizza around! I just was diagnosed with a gluten allergy and was pretty bummed. However, this pizza tastes 10/10!! The size is bigger than any other gf place and the taste is not comparable! Love it!

Have been ordering from Hometown several times a week for years. Have never had a bad meal. Always great food. The people taking the orders are always very nice and the delivery drivers are always on time and very pleasant.Their pizza is the best in town. The rest of the menu is also excellent.
I personally, do not like pizza.But, I sure love pasta!!! I have a local business in town and Hometown Pizza is my go to place for office lunch delivery! Their portions are large and delicious! My favorite pasta dish has got to be the Cavatelli; but it’s hard to choose! They also have really good grinders and there is never a problem if you want to add any extra toppings or remove any offending toppings. Their tiramisu out of this world tasty! The delivery staff are always prompt and friendly; while the owner goes above and beyond. When my grandma was living in a Watertown care facility; we would often place large orders for grandma and the staff of the facility. The owner would personally drive the order all the way up there for them. Definitely, check this place out if you like some good Italian comfort food; you won’t be disappointed!

I have ordered from here multiple times. Tonight is sadly not the first time I have had a problem. But tonight was the worst. When you order online with any exceptions or substitutions, they don't call if they cannot fulfill the request. This is quite an issue if you have an allergy! They choose on their own what to do about the exception or substitution to the order. Not good business when you're spending a lot of money $70+ for delivery. If you order early, often they deliver earlier than expected and follow the directions if you put them in of where to leave the order. Still, that doesn't out-weigh making a quick phone call to the customer to clarify an order. I worked in the hospitality food business for many years -- it's just good service to make a call.
