The lodge reminds me a lot of cheers! You walk in, and everyone starts to know your name… The weight staff is always very friendly and often strike up a conversation which I find something special these days. The food options are always great, and there are always a few specials on the list that catch someone’s eye. The draft beer choices are always rotating and changing which is great; often locally sourced. The bar area is always bustling, and offers a free pool table for patrons. There is also a large covered outdoor dining area for fair weather eating.

Stopped in today for a burger. Ordered a Breakfast Burger (bacon egg cheese burger). Burger was nothing special, needed more seasoning. Looked nothing like photos on Google which is what brought me here.Overall burger and Pepsi $23.00. So not cheap! I don’t think I would return. But I do like to always try local businesses and give money to locals vrs to chains.

You get slightly less than what you pay for while being generally isolated in the dining room as the majority of the staff stick to the bar. Had lunch here and got the Philly cheese steak. Very good sandwich and a good size diet coke. Cheese was dripping out of the sandwich and the roast beef wasn't stringy or chewy at all. Felt like I might have heart attack later in the afternoon from it which I think is how you're supposed to feel after one of these (just kidding). It's entrance is in the back of the building, in the basement. Something about this area and basement 'ratskellar' type places. This place is nicer than the Ratskellar in Southbury. It has windows that you can at least see out of the place with.

Okay, here goes and since it's my freakin money, u guys deserve the freaking truth! (1) ordered Dry martini with olives. Was served something that might make the cut in my cars windshield washer! (2) dinner; Sheppard pie; can you believe without any liquid! Huh?? Took it home to Finnegnan (my dog) - hay it's supposed to be freakin Irish! (3) Black & Tan; Ginness out of a bottle finished oh with Yuengling / not bad. Will I be back; maybe with date I'd don't want people I know to see - nah, other gin mills to spend my SSI on!

My family patronizes this restaurant often, at least weekly for Lunch and dinner. Rustic and clean. Pool table. Music and more. Food is varied and always excellent.
Great atmosphere, friendly regulars and you can tell why. The staff is great.I ordered the shepherds pie dinner to go and I will be eating this thing for the next three days. I don’t know if I’ll ever finish this thing and I want to because it’s so good. There’s just so much that I don’t know if I have the fortitude to actually complete the task.10/10 recommend.

Great quesadillas! I had the buffalo chicken with coleslaw on the side. Was really nice and absolutely worth the price! Would recommend, visited three times in two weeks.
I'm not a bar person and usually just stop in quick for lunch. The food has always been delicious. Friendly staff. Quick service and a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend coming here especially if you're into the bar scene.

I've had fantastic above the bar service here and I've had service where I turned around and walked out after waiting 15 minutes to even be acknowledged after sitting down. I seem to get better service when I'm the only one sitting in an area on a Tuesday night. I've had occurrences where the servers and bartenders want to just stand around and flirt with the customers. Then I've had servers who check on us through dinner and make sure we are doing okay. So it's hit or miss here. I stopped coming for several months because of the poor service and it seems to have gotten better but it waits to be seen if it's permanent.

I've had fantastic above the bar service here and I've had service where I turned around and walked out after waiting 15 minutes to even be acknowledged after sitting down. I seem to get better service when I'm the only one sitting in an area on a Tuesday night. I've had occurrences where the servers and bartenders want to just stand around and flirt with the customers. Then I've had servers who check on us through dinner and make sure we are doing okay. So it's hit or miss here. I stopped coming for several months because of the poor service and it seems to have gotten better but it waits to be seen if it's permanent.
