Very nice restaurant with great food! The filet mignon was melt in your mouth, the new York strip was perfectly cooked and the potatoes tasted amazing!

I first went to Anthony Jacks over twenty years ago and it was one of the best restaurants I had ever been to. Over the years, the quality has gone down, and I don't find the entrees there to be as good as they used to be. Also, there is a very rude waitress/front end manager with long hair in a ponytail that is extremely obnoxious. And the manager there is very defensive and has been confrontational and outright rude to customers. One incident even made the news a few years back! I would pass on this place going forward . . . not what it used to be and the payout isn't worth the experience anymore. Bathroom has a terrible smell and place overall has gone downhill. Sad to say because it was quite nice years ago.

I can't remember the last time I was this let down by a restaurant. Years ago I remember coming here for consistently good food and seasonal cocktails. Today was the first time back in five years, the disappointment was so bad I don't think we will ever return. For a Friday night at dinner time the restaurant was pretty empty. The poor bartenders conversations with each other as they stood around bored was our source of amusement. The heat had to be raised due to the lack of people! Not sure how our waitress was occupying her time but it definitely wasn't taking care of us as our water glasses stayed empty most of the meal.

For dinner we ordered a black Angus burger and a chicken wrap. If you read my other food reviews my biggest pet pieve is when restaurants ask you how you want the burger cooked knowing fully well they plan on cooking it well done regardless of the medium rare request. The burger and fries had no flavor, the side salad was literally undressed iceberg lettuce on the plate. Even the fries were unseasoned. The chicken wrap had similar notes of no seasoning. The only flavor came from the char on the chicken. Complete let down!

Most recently visited Anthony Jacks for takeout to celebrate my wife’s birthday (the symptom of having two kids with one being a baby). My wife ordered the Cranberry Chicken meal and she ordered me one of their delicious burgers. When I showed up the hostess was excellent, they brought me a dessert for free for my wife for her birthday. Anthony Jacks will also bring your takeout food directly out to your car if you wish (but I feel bad and prefer to grab myself). Their food is always delicious each time we order it. The cranberry chicken dish they make is ABSOLUTELY one of kind. I believe it was made by accident or so the story goes and it’s now a signature dish of theirs. It’s like a Chicken Piccata but with Cranberry breaded chicken. If you get anything on your first time dining in or taking out, that’s what you have to get.

They didn't ask how we wanted the steak it was too well done
Otherwise good cocktails and service. .

Food was excellent, good size portions. We had the cranberry chicken and the eggplant dinners. Waiter was attentive and did not rush us at all, as busy as they were.
