The food was dry, sat out for more than 45 minutes, thin and the drinks had 10 dollars on them and expired before use. NOT WORTH THE 60

Fabulous tapas food and wide variety of choices on the menu. Very personable bartender who serviced us well despite a busy evening. While we had a table reservation, the restaurant was not able to accommodate us at a table, but could at the bar. Despite the confusion around where we would be seated, a good experience with very good food.

Read the reviews and can't believe people liked it so much. Not authentic. Overpriced. They catered to customers they knew and the service was not great. Really didn't do anything to make my mother's 96th birthday special except write happy birthday on the dessert they charged us $8.00 for. Really disappointing - would not go there again.

A remarkably good restaurant, great food and presentation, excellent service. Went with friends who are well-travelled and they loved it. Enjoyed the paella, salmon, rib eye steak, and at the delicious radish and fruit salad. I have always been impressed by the food and the experience. Will definitely come again.

One of my top 5 favorite restaurants. They always have fresh seafood dishes made very interesting ways. I also like their detail to drinks on the specialty menu. always yummy. Had a shrimp and scallop dish this time over fried risotto. Super yummy and had the sausage app that was steaming hot and sweet. Finished with an ice cream filled cream puff with chocolate sauce on top.

We make a point to eat here every time we are up from Florida. Not only is the food consistently excellent, but the chef is also an artist when it comes to presentation. Best thing that's happened in the area in many years.

Excellent food and great service. Started with the Brussels sprout appetizer over a polenta cake. Then we had shrimp and mussels with linguini in a pesto cream sauce and the scallops with lobster over a risotto cake- to die for!

A real gem in a very unassuming location. We ordered tapas; the fish croquettes and the crabcake were so good we ordered them again. My companions loved the monkfish and the seafood kebab. A great place for conversation and excellent, reasonably priced food and wine.

We loved the relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. The food was great. I ordered the sea-food paella and my husband the paella valenciana. Both were great choices. The pear salad is a great! We will definitely go back to this restaurants with friends.

An absolute gem of a restaurant with authentic Spanish flavor. Every dish is a work of art, seafood that we have never tasted before! It' s hard to surprise 60 year olds! The service is great and the food is even better, worth the trip from anywhere...and did we mention that Octopus done in any way here is a dream come true, better than what I enjoyed even in Italy!

The presentation and quality of all our dishes were excellent, but our waitress was a bit strange. She did not take our orders or bring bread for about 25 minutes and yet waited on people whom she seemed to know and who arrived after us. She did wait on us when I sought her out. Also, she accidentally poured sangria on the table and it spilled on at least one of us and instead of apologizing, she told us that this often happens. I think she altered what might have been a very pleasant experience. I am not sure, but I think her name was Sara.

Food and service was phenomenal. I had reservations and was seated promptly when we arrived , it felt really homy , Tables were a little too close for my taste not much room for privacy But overall five stars in my book

We love going to El Pulpo for special occasions and bringing friends! The food is amazing and servers are friendly, but don't go if you are in a hurry, the pace is slow so that you can enjoy a bottle of wine and conversation. Always a wonderful meal!

The restaurant did not have any record of this reservation. They were gracious enough when 6 of us showed up for dinner and luckily were able to seat us. We had an awesome dinner. This has never happened to me before with open table.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant at the recommendation of friends. We were seated promptly and given both drink and food menus. I ordered a pear-tini, my husband a Manhattan. My drink was the highlight of the meal. My husbands Manhattan didn't taste anything like it should have and it came in a martini glass. (New bartender?). We proceeded to order several tapas to share. Each dish was under seasoned and over cooked. The crab cakes were good, the octopus chewy and they seemed to share the same cooked onions and pepper sauce as an accompaniment. The mussels were bland but we added salt and pepper to the sauce and sopped it up with bread. The fish croquettes were delicious and were the highlight of the meal. My husband ordered the blueberry mousse cake for dessert and it was inedible. Our waiter was kind but would disappear for long stretches. I don't think we will be returning.
