“For preface: I’m a baker. I co-opened a bakery called Neighborhoods cafe in Fenway in 2012, and I did all the baking.I can say with confidence that this place has some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted: ever.I got six different ones, cut them in half, and tried a few bites of each.First off: I was BLOWN AWAY by the mint. I don’t think people realize how challenging it is to get that mint-cookie flavor, and both the vegan and the traditional cupcakes here nailed it!All cupcakes had a fun surprise filling in the middle (I love when bakers do that), and the cookie dough icing had texture AND TASTE (how, I may never know) of a light cookie dough!I think the cannoli topped one was my favorite but I all were beyond my expectation.No, they don’t have a million options, that’s because they do a few things exceedingly well. Bravo!!!6 stars!!!!This bakery is located in a massive brick building shared by other stores. It was hard to find the handicap entrance but there is one on the side!!!“

I'm a big critic when it comes to Red Velvet because it's my favorite cake, this one was amazing from the soft cake to the cream cheese frosting that was light and melted in my mouth 🤤 with each bite. NOW the Chocolate Caramel Delux. “The shops and bakery cases are beautiful. The desserts are stunning and always taste amazing. I ordered a pre-designed cake and macarons for my son's birthday everyone loved the cake and said the macarons were the best they've ever had. It's also a great place to stop in for a treat“

“I ordered a lemon raspberry birthday cake with vanilla buttercream and it was delicious and beautifully decorated. They have great recipes here; cake was fluffy, they used just the right amount of filling, and frosting was amazing. Sometimes buttercream can be either too heavy or too sweet. Theirs was neither. The birthday girl loved it! Also their breakfast pastries are very good with homemade fruit fillings.😋“

“I have family in waterbury that we try and visit monthly and this is the first place we stop at each time and believe it or not it is just for the loaves of bread and my brother in law drives all the way from NH to grab just bread for certain occasions.... Amazing place. BTW the desserts are amazing breakfast sandwiches are huge and filling and of course Delicious! My suggestion is go there because there is a lot to choose from and you won't be disappointed.......“

Don't get me wrong, but after all I heard about this place I expected 5+ stars at least ;)
Been to several good bakeries in Queens or Brooklyn before, ...well different league, just my personal opinion 🤷‍♂️
