I haven’t been here in several years, but we recently moved back to the area and came here for lunch! The margaritas are just as amazing as I remember and I had the camarones picante that were amazing and the other person with me had a combo he loved as well!!!! Always loved this place

I went here around 1 n the afternoon for lunch. Arroz con pollo. The chicken was dry and reheated. The rice was obviously leftovers and reheated. Some dark some ok colored. All dry. The black beans had something white floating in the middle of the cup. The service was not good at all. If you pull into a restaurant and there is 0 people there at lunch, that should be a clue. When I was waiting for my order, I looked up at the vents in the entryway. Black mold around all of the diffusers. For your health, DO NOT go to this restaurant. For your wallet, $18 is way too much for reheated last nights garbage. The chips were stale and the salsa had an off tast, no spice left. Please do not punish yourself.

I would give NEGATIVE stars if it was possible!!!El Sombrero has seriously declined! I was waiting for over an hour for take out!!!! The girl who took my order was absolutely RUDE and acted like she cared less about getting my order!!!
The only thing I actually enjoyed was the Molé sauce. The chimichungas were pre-made. The rice was really d-r-y!!
I asked for gluten free and they completely ignored my request. I was overcharged too. When I called to talk to someone about it I was told that if I didn't like it I shouldn't come back.

Dietary restrictions: This place could care LESS if you have a good allergy!!!!

Parking: The ramp is very steep and difficult to navigate.

Wheelchair accessibility: The shared bathroom is NOT wheelchair friendly!!!

Fajita supreme was 90% veggies and 10% protein. Who puts carrots, broccoli, and zucchini in fajitas? Also the online price definitely did not match with what I paid for which was insane. $70 for 2 plain quesadillas and fajita supreme…not okay!!!! Will not be going back there again. And the food tasted mediocre.

I'm sorry, I'm a little confused. As person a lacking melanin, I thought we were the ones that are afraid of seasoning?Literally the only flavor my entire plate had was charred skillet. In a blind taste test I'd wonder how you made a pan chewable...

Great place, but has changed a lot! Used to be a mariachi band strolling through the dining area, now a loud rock band plays in the lobby.. both are great! But, the mariachi band was something you could only get at El Sombreros. Can see a rock band anywhere. Also, recipes & portion sizes have changed slightly.Still a FABULOUS place to go.
