This place is soo fun , drinks and video games !
Great time, good games. Great service, good in the same building.
They got the best House of the Dead AND Guitar Hero equipment I've EVER used. That's period. I swear they calibrate the HotD every single day and the guitars are brand new. God bless. Tokens were cheap af, not sure if that's cuz it was a Wednesday (definitely trivia night featuring a $25 gift card prize) while the drinks are where I spent more money, which were absolutely delicious. Easy 5 star
I can't love this place more than I already do, family friendly, you can have a great time with your kids and have fun yourself, I never seen anyone being serious for too long in there. I love the service and the respect the staff gives.
Decent place with a small collection of retro arcade games, as well as a fairly robust pinball collection. The pinball tables were mostly modern Stern machines, but there were about a half-dozen older tables from the 90s era.
Token prices are very reasonable. We were there during a pinball tournament so most of the tables were occupied a lot of the time, but they didn't use a bunch each round so we were still able to get some games in.
Best arcade in New England (yes, that includes Funspot). The machines are well maintained and rotated out frequently. You can come back in a month after a visit and have a whole new experience.
Great service. Good selection of pinball and other games. Wish there was some food. Will be going back.
I’ve been going here quite often for years, and never once has this place felt dangerous, cold, uninviting or cramped. The folks here are from all walks of life, ages, backgrounds and cultures. Unlike some other troubling watering holes in town, the crowd here is just looking for a quaint place to hang their hat and meet some new friends.
Enjoy their many modern and classic pinball machines, partake in weekly and monthly tournaments and leagues, play all sorts of arcade games, sit at the bar and watch a movie, sports game or try your hand at some switch games with others at the bar. There’s so much to do here, and no matter when you go, staff is always so friendly and helpful. I’d name my favorite bartenders, but I’d simply be naming the entire staff.
Founded by two brothers with a childhood dream and an unstoppable will, this place echoes the very sentiment its founders had intended it to. Gamers, sports fans, bar hoppers, business people, or just folks who love a good cocktail all pile in and make this place wonderful.
See ya there!
I would give them 5 stars but THEY NEED TO DO MAINTENANCE ON THEIR MVC2 CAB.
This place is great! Everyone there ,staff AND customers are always super friendly . Couldn't pick a better place to go if you're the designated driver for the evening, on account of when your friends start rambling on inebriatedly about opening a restaurant... you can distract them with arcade games! And last but not least, the Wednesday night trivia is the best .... Geeked Trivia is the shiznit. It's FREE to play, AND you can win generous prizes to gamecraft! It's a win-win.

Gamecraft is my new favorite place!! We were in the area for something else and we were looking for things to do. My boyfriend saw this place on Google and we figured we would give it a try. He had a blast… and to be honest so did I! This place had so many options of games to play. I grew up on Mario kart, super Mario party, and guitar hero but it was really cool to see all the vintage machines. We had a blast playing mortal kombat, Tetris, super Mario world, donkey Kong, frogger, skee ball and astroids. They also had the Cruis’n Exotica (racing games) - I beat my boyfriend every time! He hates playing those with me now. The prices are very reasonable for coins to play games. I have also found a new love for pinball! These machines are so cool! Honestly, the goal was to just hit the ball and I didn’t really know what was happening but I had a blast! I cannot wait to come back to play more pinball lol. Drinks were great! And the bartender, I don’t know his name, but he was so knowledgeable about all games and things they offered. I think the best part was we got to play Mario Kart while having a drink at the bar - that’s a first for us but it was awesome!! Drinks were very good too! This place is about 40 mins from us, but we will for sure be back!
It's nice
"Exploring Local Amusement: A Visit to GameCraft Arcade"
As a newcomer to Torrington, Connecticut, I have found great joy in exploring the various amusement options available in the area. After moving here a few years ago, I began my quest to uncover local entertainment spots. About six months ago, my search led me to the burgeoning trend of barcades—arcades that combine classic games with the social atmosphere of a bar. This concept has grown substantially in the last decade and has opened up a new realm of recreation for people of all ages.
During my investigation, GameCraft Arcade in Southington quickly caught my attention. Its presence on Google Maps stood out among other establishments, highlighted by numerous positive reviews and a vibrant online community. I was particularly drawn to the idea of spending a few hours in an inviting environment that encourages both nostalgia and social interaction. The arcade's website showcased an array of games, and I felt a spark of excitement at the prospect of reliving my childhood memories, filled with the sounds of retro games and the laughter of people enjoying themselves.
Before my visit, I reached out to GameCraft Arcade to inquire about their offerings. The person on the other end of the line—who I suspect may have been the owner—was incredibly polite and informative. He shared that the arcade hosts a family day on Sundays, which enhances its appeal as a family-friendly destination. I also learned about their “discount Tuesday,” which suggests an effort to make the arcade accessible to a wider audience. These insights, coupled with the overall positive vibe I sensed during our conversation, further solidified my decision to visit.
Today marks my first visit to GameCraft Arcade, and I am eager to experience it firsthand. While I have only researched this venue online, it has already made a lasting impression on me. I am optimistic that the atmosphere will be just as welcoming and engaging as it appears. Even as someone who hasn’t had the opportunity to enjoy recreational spots in nearly two decades, I am confident that GameCraft will rekindle that sense of joy.
In conclusion, although my visit is yet to be completed, I felt compelled to share my enthusiasm and anticipation for GameCraft Arcade. It deserves recognition for its efforts to create a space that brings people together through games and shared experiences. I am looking forward to providing an update after my visit, yet it feels important to recognize a place that stands out in my ongoing exploration of local entertainment options.
