For preface: I’m a baker. I co-opened a bakery called Neighborhoods cafe in Fenway in 2012, and I did all the baking.I can say with confidence that this place has some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted: ever.I got six different ones, cut them in half, and tried a few bites of each.First off: I was BLOWN AWAY by the mint. Very cool little bakery! It sit within a trendy industrial looking shopping center "ish" building. The whoopie pie was ridiculous! The blueberry cupcake was spot on, the peanut butter cheesecake and the carrot cake cheesecake bar were terrific and the wife loved the lemon bar! ? Would recommend!!
The inside of the bakery looks great! The cases weren't full, which could have just been a time of day, swapping out empty trays for new ones but it just didn't seem there was a huge selection. I asked for a suggestion and walked away with a fantastic looking Reese's brownie, which is appearance looks great! Overall, the brownie was pretty good, but far more dense than I expected. I would absolutely come back and try this again, but maybe something a bit lighter.
