Ordered online, first mistake ended up paying $10 more because I ordered online they dont tell you it cost more to order online then by a phone call! Food wasnt even started when I got there 20 mins after ordering. I ordered the classic special combo general tsos chicken which is supposed to come with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I did not get my egg roll and i got white rice instead. Chicken was cold, bland and salty not sweet. It was not hot, it was not crispy. Crab ragoon are a joke here. No filling. Throughly Disgusted. And did i mention that it cost me 10 dollars more to order online! General tsos is 10.95 but online it was 13.95! Ridiculous! I will never order from here again.

This is the first time my wife and I went to place, as soon as we entered we were greeted warmly by a very friendly gentleman. He was the only one there. He took our order and made our food fresh. I am Chinese and Cambodian. I grew up eating Chinese food all the time and my first job was in Chinese restaurant. So I know quality Chinese food. The food was AMAZING!!! I knew the fried rice was fresh because there was still some white rice in it but the flavor….. ? Chinese food has gone down hill and flavorless but not this place. Definitely going back to this place from now on. I live in Waterbury and the restaurant is definitely worth the drive. Amazing!! Food was still hot when I got home btw

Horrible Chinese food ever. The egg roll was cold and it was doughy in middle. The pepper and steak was not good a lot of garlic. The pork in rice tasted like it was cat. Never seen huge pieces of pork in pork fried rice

I don’t normally leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I believe our experience tonight warrants one. We ordered a larger size order for the family tonight $74 worth of food. The gentleman over the phone was extremely friendly and nice and told us it would be 25 mins for pick up. We arrived and were told the order was not ready just yet. Which is just fine. 40 minutes later the food was ready. The guy worker was the only employee there and I believe he was the owner. Again he was very friendly and apologetic about the wait time. We did not mind waiting, in fact we were happy because he was being so kind to us. We get home and my 1 and half year old sits down to eat and as she is eating her steamed chicken I went and tried a piece and thought the texture was weird. Didn’t think too much of it because it was just a small piece. I then bit into a piece of beef and it was completely raw. I will attach photos. I then looked at my daughters chicken further and saw that was raw as well. I called to tell the owner that the food was raw and her was apologetic and said he would “do better”. We brought the food back because at that point we no longer wanted to eat because frankly we were a bit grossed out. We asked the owner to please refund us for the 4 meals that were uncooked because they were inedible. We were not looking for a full refund for the whole order, but only of the meals that we not properly cooked. His attitude had changed and refused to refund us . Told my husband to leave the store and that he was not refunding anything because “some restaurants serve raw food”. We were honestly a bit shocked with his refusal. This is the first time trying this restaurant and we obviously will not be returning. I’m very concerned that my 1 and a half year old ingested raw chicken. I will be monitoring her for the next day to make sure she does not get sick. This type of food should not be sold to customers due to it being a health risk. The health department has been notified.

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of items on the menu that can be customized.

The service was phenomenal. Nicest guy I have ever met. Really wanted to like this place just to support the owner, but the food was not at all what I expected. The general tsos was very soggy and the flavor was way off. Not spicy at all just very salty and gravy like. The pork fried rice also was a little mushy and the pork was in long pieces on the side instead of mixed in. My bf ordered the chicken and broccoli and didn't like it either, but still ate it. Unfortunately I could only eat a couple bites of mine before throwing the entire dinner away. Maybe other meals would be better here, but I unfortunately won't be trying them again.
