Second time to this spot - in from out of town. Last night I had the best piece of fresh Halibut that I can remember. Absolutely terrific. Excellent and the service was outstanding as well.

The food was very good. Unfortunately, they pack far too many people in (probably a fire code violation) to provide good service. Then they staff the place with teenagers. Screw up order, serve cold food, weak drinks, don’t offer dessert, keep us waiting ridiculously long. Tremendous potential destroyed by greedily squeezing every nickel. In light of the overall experience I would say overpriced by about 50%. Maybe better at off peak times. I won't go back, but I'm sure they will rake.

We went here for a family dinner and really liked it. The food was good and the service was great. The staff were very attentive. It was a little loud as they were very busy but not too bad. We had a reservation and were seated further away from the bar, which helped. The food portion was generous, and everyone was pleased with their order.

Great vibe . Sat at a high top in-the bar area and really enjoyed the busy atmosphere. Food was excellent!!! Rachel our server was the best. The place was packed on the Saturday night that we went but she treated us like we were her only customers.. This place is a 45 minute drive for us but we'll worth it.

We love this restaurant, this was my husband's & I second time here & both times, our dinners were delicious, I had the pork chop & he had the stuffed cod! Our waitress Lindsay was awesome, all staff so kind & courteous, can't wait to go back in the spring! ?????

New Mill is a consistently great restaurant. Their staff is always nice and helpful. I know working with customers can be really difficult but each time we come in we are treated like their only customers. There are always a good selection of food and drinks.Huge portion of lobster ravioli for Valentine's day!

This was our second time at New Mill Restaurant and we'll most definitely be back for more! The menu choices are all wonderful and then they have specials that are equally incredible, making it hard to decide. We've ordered from both each visit and were not disappointed. Everyone at our table loved everything. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful. We look forward to next time we're in town!
Honestly this restaurant has the best food I've had in a VERY long time when eating out! The atmosphere is cozy, quaint, and a little rustic. The staff were all super attentive it was just a bit on the busy side due to cancellations from a snow storm where they closed the day before Valentine's Day! But I'm not upset about that at all!! Such a great location and we will absolutely be returning!

Our first time there. We had an early dinner which was fine for us. Around 7 the noise level went up. The food was delicious and the ambiance. We enjoyed the fireplace. Lookimg forward to coming again perhaps in warm weather to see the water moving

As always, we had a wonderful experience. Our biggest complaint is that it is difficult to get a reservation, you must plan a number of days before, but it is worth the effort. Dave who runs the front of the house and Miss Karen who runs things in the back of house do an excellent job maintaining the standards of a gourmet restaurant and experience. Our server Sarah, truly knowledgeable of the menu, was right on her recommendation of having the scallops special last night. We had a great time and will be making a reservation soon.
