Sliders Grill & Bar - Southington, CT

Ordered a bunch of takeout boneless wings and fries today. The boneless wings were terrible - stringy, chewy, dry. The curly fries were soggy and not cooked enough. Really disappointed.

What's my buddy's 50th birthday party here they have a room for events The food was amazing.

Jeremy has been one of the most consistent bartenders I’ve experienced since going out to the bar. It’s very obvious he truly cares about the patrons that go to his bar to have a good drink and great conversation.

Jeremy is not just an amazing bartender, but a genuinely good human. He has a way of making you laugh when you need it most and making you feel seen and valued. That kind of kindness stays with you long after the drink is gone.

First time here and couldn’t be more disappointed!!!!!!!

Bar service was extremely slow despite the restaurant being only half full, with wait times of 10-15 minutes per round. The bartender appeared visibly angry and was throwing items behind the bar. Additionally, there was a strong marijuana odor emanating from him that was noticeable throughout the bar area. While marijuana may be legal, the smell and unprofessional behavior significantly detracted from the overall experience.

I visit a friend who, lives in Southington, several times a year. Without a doubt this is our favorite place to go!!! Great beer selection! Fabulous service! Very attentive! We wanted to watch Uconn women's basketball. They found a quiet corner for us and put the game on! We got our beers quickly and ordered a variety of wings and sauces. I'm a huge wing fan, but.... they'd better not be undercooked! And, they never are here!!!! UCONN won a runaway!! Food and service was fabulous! I wish I lived closer (I live in Agawam, Mass)!! I'd be here 4x/week!!! LOL. My only complaint is that the woman's bathroom was 35 degrees!!!!!!! See you again in a month or so!!!!❤

Recently met up with friends for wings. The atmosphere was great. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite team play, great beer selection and plenty of wing choices. Food seemed a bit on the greaser side but may have been attributed to the volume of people at the time. Despite being busy, waitstaff was very attentive!!! Overall good experience!! Would consider returning and giving them another try!!

The food here is great in the wings are top-notch. It's not the fault of the chef that the layout is not very good you can be put in a corner away from people and it gets kind of sad.

Get the Puccini type things they make with tater tots. I do not miss the trufflao wings, and the maple bacon bourbon flavor. Those two are the best. And if you don't listen to me at all that's fine but I have one piece of advice get the wings well done- you will thank me later.

I went there on Saturday afternoon to watch some college football. The bar tenders name according to him is J Rock. He was so on top of his game and always made sure I had everything. He made the experience. Typical sports bar with great wing sauce but the service makes me want to go back.

Good food but the service is not that great. They need to be attentive to detail when it comes to delivery. I was supposed to have a bacon egg cheeseburger and chips and they forgot my cheeseburger. The caller was saying I could pick up the next day for store credit and it was too late. My advice to double check the bags in EVERY ORDER and tell your chefs to check the tickers everytime

Randomly stopped by on a Friday afternoon and sat at the bar. I ordered a variety of wings and drank some Guinness on tap. Their wings are excellent a damn near endless variety to mix and match. They don't have pool tables or darts so that's kinda a bummer

I came to Sliders on a Saturday at 12:30pm with a friend. It wasn't very busy at that time. We sat in our booth for at least 20 minutes before a server came to us. We ordered drinks. I was given the wrong drink, which has happened 4 times now at Sliders... How hard is it?!? The wrong drink that was originally given to me, sat at the table the ENTIRE time we were there.

Anyways, we wanted to play Keno and asked our server for some slips. We had to ask a 2nd time, because we were forgotten about. We were finally asked if we'd like to order food after 40 minutes at the table. I ordered 10 BONELESS wings and was given 10 BONE IN wings. My friend asked for 6 bone in wings, ALL FLATS. She was given 4 drums and 2 flats. Our server never used his note pad and honestly he should if he's just going to get the order wrong every time.

After we got our food, we wanted to play another round of Keno, but was told that we had to go to the bar and give the bartender the paperwork. Why? We didn't have to do that the first time. I ordered 10 boneless wings to go and made sure I said the word BONELESS three times. They arrive and WOW, they are half the size they used to be and for the same price! Why have the wings gotten so much smaller?! Unbelievable!

Honestly, this was the worst experience I have had at a Sliders and that is saying something because last October, we had a server who legitimately never came to our table. We had to ask another server to help us because he ignored us all night. Sliders has gone downhill. The customer service is crap. The wings are half the size, for the same price. And they always get my drinks wrong (I order a hard apple cider every time and somehow get given a beer or some other cider flavor every time!!). My friend and I will be finding another place to go to lunch from now on. Too bad too, because Sliders used to be great.

I was contacted by the General Manager a couple days after my visit. She was very nice and apologetic. She offered to give me and my friend a full refund on our visit. She mentioned doing this more than once in our conversation. Several days later we received only a partial refund. I reached out about it and have heard nothing back. Maybe if she stuck to her word, we'd give this place another chance. As is, we will not. It's too bad, because the food is good, but the customer service... Not so much.
