I stopped at the Starbucks on 812 Queen St. in Southington today around 2 PM and had a really disappointing experience. I ordered a Venti brewed coffee, waited quite a long time, and was given a Grande instead. When I mentioned it, the barista said it would take a while to make another one and that they’d have to refund and recharge me. She explained they were training a new employee, but honestly, the biggest issue was her attitude — she was ironic and dismissive, even though she knew I had already been waiting a long time. Because of the delay, I ended up leaving without my coffee since I didn’t have time left on my break. I’ve always liked Starbucks, but this visit was very frustrating and not what I expect from their service. I hope management looks into this and improves customer care at this location.

Roni is such a great asset to Starbucks. When I walked in my order wasn’t ready when promised, but you could tell it was busy. Roni was helping a customer with an order, then came over to check the queue, and acknowledged me and made sure where I was and that it was being worked on. Thanked my for the business and I went about my day. You can tell that the store is run smoothly because of them. Now that I’m in the area, it’ll be my new place to frequent. Got to mention my drink was made perfectly too and the cold foam was the right consistency.

I love Starbucks , & it’s my go to every morning for my coffee & my Ham Swiss croissant before work but today out of all days my coffee was handed to me like someone drank out of it prior to handing it to me ! Not only that but it has so much ice is insane. So sad , I couldn’t turn back around to have them remake it . I just hope they can make it before next time I stop if I even come back.

Every time I come to this location a worker has an attitude with me, wether it’s just an attitude or shrugging me off, shaking head etc. several times my drink has come out looking horribly made (and for a $6+ coffee/ juice you would think they would put pride into their work) they don’t!
This is a new location and is much easier to get in and out of. Also, this location has a drive-through sp that is an upgrade. The previous location did not have one.

Went on a busy Mother’s Day in the morning. Quiet inside, but drive through line was slammed and every employee was handling it with positivity and ease. I am 8 months pregnant and ordered my food and drink with my husband and Ronnie at the register (I believe her to be a manager or something) was SO kind. Really made me feel special on my technically unofficial first Mother’s Day. My drink also was perfectly made by a shorter girl with short dark hair, and I usually am hard to please with my confusing orders! Overall fantastic experience, really made my chaotic morning less anxious! I used to work at a Starbucks too in NYC and this was definitely one of my best experiences location wise on queen street in southington! Thank you to an amazing team!!

This one is just like most places. They were not busy. It was quick and easy. The staff kept to themselves and worked. Nothing special.
I usually don't have an issue with ordering a drink form any Starbucks but at this location I did. My go to drink is a grande or venti green tea, lite lemonade shaken. It was shaken but way to much lemonade, was already in my car and back on the highway. I should have tasted it before I left. Oh well my fault.
