This was the worst experience I’ve ever had out for dinner especially on a family member’s birthday do not waste your time the service was slow with a prefixed menu to be seated at 710 and the meal to finally come out with only two entrees at 941 just embarrassing! The owner was clueless as to why no food was coming out the kitchen

We love a good spot for tapas, and we definitely enjoyed the food at The Manhattan! Highlights were the croquettes and oxtail lollipops. It’s always impressive when they bring over the dessert platter so you can see all your options too! Loved the vibe of the restaurant with the lights on the ceiling, it was perfect for our double date! The food came out quickly, and our server was friendly and helpful when we asked how many orders of tapas we should get for 4 people. The manager also came over several times and was very nice. A great local spot to keep in mind!

In our attempt to get around all our town has to offer we ended up here for something new after a poor attempt at another local establishment... the greet was a little slow and awkward but after that was an enjoyable evening. The Tapas style was nice for my wife and I to sample several offerings including some of their signature cocktails. The Southington Rye Manhattan was extremely smooth and enjoyable. The environment was nice and the staff was friendly. Overall everything was good... priced a hair on the high side for portion size imo... but definitely a place we will return and enjoy again

Coming home from a work trip, my GPS took me to the wrong hospital of central CT to meet my husband for dinner, so we wound up here after handy google recommended it. Definitely a great place! My husband had the scallop entree & I had the ceviche, then we shared a chocolate cake with red cabbage cheesecake frosting. It was really good! We each had a drink - I had the bees knees & my husband had the mezcal of fashioned. Both were delicious & the place was warm and quiet. We enjoyed our meal & headed home. I wish we lived closer because I'd definitely come again! Hoping we have more excuses to head here soon!

Went here on a whim while exploring downtown Southington\Plantsville. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Went as a couple. We ordered tapas and a drink. The drinks were fine, but the food was very lacking. Portions were okay in size for their price, but definitely just an addition to a drink. They were tasty and flavorful, but loaded with grease. Of all 3 tapas, not one was acceptable enough for me to recommend to anyone. If you are a local and looking for a night out, the staff and atmosphere is definitely worth it, but my recommendation is to choose an entre or soup\salad to compliment a drink. Just didn't feel this one on that night. If you are not a local, there are plenty of other places to eat and drink in the area. Atmosphere lost a star here because one of the dishes was cracked through to the middle and on a second plate (weird).
Parking: Parking is no problem at all here. They have their own lot and it is easy to park downtown in the main lot and walk a couple of blocks.

After a mistake on my part of ordering a meal with a dairy based sauce (I’m lactose intolerant and somehow missed the cream in the description) they were more then happy to make me a new dish. Food was amazing and the drinks were just as impressive! Looks like we’ve found our new spot!

My husband loves the food here! Took him for the first time tonight and he was blown away. The food is fresh, the drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Our new favorite spot :) Can’t wait to come for our next date night!!
Wow, went for dinner on a Tuesday night, wife’s friend recommended. Tried a few different Manhattan’s they were soo smooth and tasty. Many too choose from… The appetizer's, dinner, and the deserts were delicious. Overall, far exceeded expectations. Service was awesome, owner came over and chatted with us as welll, dinner A+++. Highly recommend.
