Had my girlfriends birthday party there and had an awesome time, between Walter singing and the staff, esp Above Average Joe , they all made her feel very special . Thanks again guys, will definitely have another birthday bash there !
This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I visited Witchdoctor long ago and have seen their stands at multiple beer festivals, but decided to visit again for this review.
The brewery occupies a part of a repurposed industrial building. There's plenty of space inside with many different seating options, as well as a pool table, darts, and some other entertainment. They also set up a patio outside during warmer times. The theme of the brewery is music, so you can find many interesting references in the decor. The brewery has partnered with a kitchen, and all times I've ate there the food was amazing. But you can also order food from the restaurants in the same building if you wish. I also have a separate shoutout to the staff working there - the bartenders were positive and really friendly.
I already tried many of Witchdoctor's beers before, so this time I ordered the ones I missed. There's a big selection of styles available on tap, so everyone can find something. Plus they have a full bar with some locally made drinks - I tried their own Limoncello and it was good. I enjoyed almost all the beers I had with just a couple of exceptions. My favorites were Smokie Opie (Smoked Red Ale) - for how unique it was, and Bunny Patch (Milkshake IPA).
I definitely recommend this brewery to anyone, as this is an awesome place to unwind while sipping good beers.
Fantastic brewery experience. Great place to play pool and share a few beers with friends
Awesome drinks and events, plus it's dog friendly so I'm always charmed when I see somebody's dog in there. Not to mention it's in the same building as so many other fun things to do. I enjoy getting a couple drinks here then venturing out to experience everything else Factory Square has to offer
Great venue many selections anything from ipa to hard drinks to even non alcoholic drinks tons of different food options into he same square
Great beer, good cocktails, and plenty of games and activities. Plus it looks like they host interesting events throughout the month. I wish I lived closer. Tarot night? Sushi classes? That's awesome.
Wonderful place to go have a drink. Its neat and clean and the beer is quality
Attempted to go for the first time. They had no events besides a jewelry vendor on their calender. When we arrived they had booked 2 parties and stated that there were no tables as the 2 parties had paid for them. It should be listed on their social media if no seating is available on a Saturday. Not a friendly brewery to go to. Would not recommend to anyone. Go to bad sons or somewhere that is more accommodating.
went here last night on a whim to celebrate myself and 2 friends upcoming birthdays and honestly the place is nice!! they have games, a pool table, an area set up for live music, and can’t forget the touch tunes, lol. the staff were so nice! joe and mike great guys, respectful. i had ordered a drink and wasn’t feeling it and mike was paying attention and offered me something different. that meant a lot honestly because i was otherwise forcing myself to drink it lmao. oh, and they have what i think was an honorary staff named chris lol he was nice too! i loved it here 😊
Really good sour, I had the smoothie one and my friend got the mango one, both were great!!
