My wife and I enjoyed our evening. Johnny our server recommended the porterhouse and it was one of the best we've had but the sides were the star of the show. Wild mushrooms in truffle cream were unbelievable and the fries were crisp and delicious.

Restaurant is quite appealing, visually. Service was slow, waters never refilled, had to track down server for boxes for leftovers. Steak ordered medium but was almost well done, only one part had a hint of very slight pink as opposed to the rest which was completely gray. Shellfish tasted like it had been soaked for long periods of time in fresh water, raw oysters and clams included. Cocktail sauce heavy on the horseradish, which was excellent. Extremely disappointing meal.

I went to this place by myself about 6:30 PM on a Friday night. When I walked in, there was hardly anyone there, except for a few people at the bar, who seemed like they were having a good time. I was seated at a table, and immediately noticed how elegant the place was. They brought me some homemade potato chips, and my cocktail, while I scanned the menu. I placed my order starting with the Tuna Tartarre, then followed that with a Caesar Salad, and went with the Seafood Pasta as my main dish. The tuna was really, really delicious. Served with their homemade potato chips (same as the ones put on my table when I sat down). The salty bite is a nice accompaniment to the tuna. Really delicious appetizer. The salad was next and it was quite outstanding: creamy, delicious, crunchy croutons, and very fresh romaine lettuce. At this point I'd like to mention that the service was impeccable. Really attentive and dresssed very nicely. Everything about the meal so far was wonderful. Next came the main course, the Seafood Pasta. And I have to say, when they set it before me, I was a little under-whelmed. For a $48 price tag, I thought it would be bigger with lots more seafood. My dish had one shrimp, 5 clams, and a few calamari rings and I don't think there was any lobster. If there was lobster, it was such an insignificant amount, that I couldn't detect it. But, overall, the flavor of the dish was good, and I finished every bite. That being said, I enjoyed the restaurant very much. I wonder why there was no one there? If it's because it's set in a strip mall, perhaps, and people don't think a nice restaurant could exist in a strip mall... Well, then let that go people, this place is really nice. And I can't say enough about how elegant it was with perfect service. I might not order the Seafood Pasta again, but I would not hesitate to go back. Perhaps I'll go with a steak next time.

Great local eatery. We had all fish dishes. Lobster over black ink pasta is amazing. We shared. And the sea bass and swordfish fish were delicious. We will be back. Great neighborhood gem.

My wife and went on a Sunday, early evening. We literally had the place to ourselves which didn't bother us at all. We got recommendations from our waiter. The food and service were excellent! We look forward to going back soon.

Food was not up to par with the cost. Crab cake was more bread than crab, Cheesecake was frozen, house wine was no good. way too much money for the kind of meat you're getting.

Excellent meal, friendly service. Everything was so fresh and reasonably priced. The cocktails were to die for. Basil smash with fresh basil and gin was a hit. We split a porterhouse and it was as good as it gets.

I was hesitant to try the Ridges because all of the Open Table reviews were from out of town but since a local Stamford friend of ours recommended we dine there we decided to give it a try. I can honestly say we are VERY pleased that we gave The Ridges a try. The food and service were exceptional. We started with Crab Cocktail and some oysters, they were as good as any we have ever had. As we enjoy a nice glass of red with dinner the server suggested a new Brunello that was not yet on the wine list at a reasonable price. Another hit, they decanted the wine and we enjoyed every drop. For dinner we ordered a Rack of Lamb and a Tomahawk Veal Chop, both were served piping hot and prepared to perfection with delicious sides! We ended up splitting a delicious dessert and heading home with full bellies and plans to return to The Ridges soon, this is a place that is not to be missed

We went back for the 2nd time because of the piano player & there was no piano player . Also the first time the food was great this time the food was frozen food baked clams were horrible crab cake was one & frozen . The main course came out we ordered veal chop it was so so small like a lamb chop.very disappointed will never go back again the worst service was horrible too !!

We had an excellent meal and experience this past weekend. The porterhouse for two was top notch, flavored and cooked perfectly, no need for the steak sauce that they provided. Service was friendly and diligent. Will certainly return.

Don't let the exterior of this restaurant fool you. Although it is located in a strip mall, the restaurant is top notch. Great food and service. On some evening, there is piano music.

A bit pricey especially for the small portions on entree. Flavors were good and interesting sauces. Noise volume quite loud. Will try again, as this was first time and using restaurant menu.

Overall an amazing experience!! From the warm welcome we received when we walked in, to the delicious food, to the amazing hand crafted cocktails, we had an amazing date night. The staff at The Ridges treats each table like family, and provides a 5-star dining experience. We will absolutely be back soon and can't recommend this amazing restaurant enough. The best in town!

Fantastic evening it was very busy and they seemed to have everything under control one couple next to us was extremely loud and rude to the waiter (they seemed to be drunk and were kindly asked to leave, very professional) we asked to be moved away and they accommodated promptly. Food was excellent prepared to our request. Will be back soon

Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner with the family. Respectful service timed properly to our liking we asked if we can wait to order our mains because we weren't in a rush our waiter told us he controls the kitchen and the food would be out minutes after we are ready for it. So we ordered. Porterhouse for 2 was mind blowing you can see the marbling running through the filet and the strip. Sides were unbelievable Brussel sprouts crispy, cream spinach to die for, mashed potatoes were fantastic. You don't expect good espresso at a restaurant but the espresso was the best one I've had in the United States
