It was okay, just okay. However my issue is that I paid almost $30 for a burger ($17) that was literally the size of my palm. It was supposed to be a smash burger, both patties were overly thick and unappealing. For the price point they were at it was just a miss. The Mac and cheese was also just okay ($10) food was hot and quick so I’ll give them that, but overall not impressed.

Wow. I just had their Italian inspired pork belly sandwich at the Italian festival in Stamford. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was hesitant to write this review because it was so good I want to keep at a secret all to myself. I'll definitely be going back for more and hope they get a brick and mortar space soon!

so grateful i pit stopped at half full brewery to grab some brews and use the bathroom because i wouldn't have found this gem. the dry aged beef burger was probably one of the best hamburgs i've ever had!! juicy on the inside and crusted well on the outside whilst being inside a perfectly toasted bun. was a little disappointed there wasn't any toppings considering it was 15 bucks but it wasn't missed. and then the chicken cutlet!!! don't tell grandma but this one was also phenomenal. the garlic butter used in the sandwich was the perfect jumpstart of umami to elevate the perfectly seasoned chicken into another world of flavors. wish there was something like this in nyc!!

We ordered from Avellino for our Easter dinner this year. From the time we ordered, to the delivery, to the packaging and the instructions on how to reheat, it was all seamless. The food was exceptional. Everything was delicious and we loved every morsel of it.

Been enjoying amazing food at the 314 Beer garden location and I am literally addicted. Usually I can be a picky eater but there isn’t I single thing on the menu I wouldn’t try. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
I've been eating Chef Leland's food for about 10+ years. Never disappoints! Best BBQ you can get locally and it is being made and served by some amazing people! I have lived/eaten BBQ in Texas, NC and KC and their food is right on par with all of it.

We've always had a great experience with AFBBQ!!! The ordering process is easy, the pickup process is easy, and the food is amazing! We've done orders with their weekly menus (the spatchcocked chicken is insane!) as well as some of their holiday menus! Hands down my favorite so far was our order for Christmas. We had a newborn at home so cooking a holiday meal wasn't appealing. AFBBQ to the rescue! We ordered the lamb loins, with roasted carrots and gratin potatoes. It was fantastic and gave us a real family meal at a very busy holiday season!...which reminds me of when we ordered our Thanksgiving meal! I don't know what Leland does to make his corn pudding the best corn pudding I have ever had in my life, but it was the best corn pudding I have ever had in my life.Also, if you ever see the Buffalo Bleu wings, ORDER THEM.The other great thing about AFBBQ, beyond how delicious the above is, you are ordering from one of the warmest, kindest, and most compassionate families in our local area. It's amazing to see what The Avellino's have built in just one year, but even more amazing to see them use their success for both giving back to local causes and prioritize opportunities to support other local businesses!

Great local barbecue from the former pit boss and owner of the Stamford Dinosaur BBQ. It’s just him and his smoker (and his family, of course). The rotating menu is available on their Instagram or on the website (or you can sign up to be on their email list). You place the order by Thursday noon, and you drive up and pick up some of the best ‘cue around on Saturday. Of course, the ribs and pulled pork are excellent, but I really love their porchetta and pork belly burnt ends, and the deviled eggs were phenomenal.
