I’ve been wanting to try Bar Rosso for a while — the menu and ambiance always looked amazing. We specifically chose it for brunch because their website promotes bottomless mimosas, which sounded like a fun experience. However, when we arrived, we were told they were not offering bottomless mimosas, which was disappointing.

Unfortunately, the service also didn’t live up to expectations. After being seated, my husband waited about 20 minutes just to get a server to come over so we could order drinks. When we were finally able to place an order, we were told that the person helping us only handled drinks and that someone else would need to come take our food order. We ended up waiting even longer after that, and a table seated after us received their drinks before we did. At that point, we decided to leave.

The space and concept seem great, but between the inaccurate promotion and the lack of service, the experience was really disappointing. I hope it was just an off day.

Food was great and we would go back for the food! We had dinner reservations at 7:45pm on a Saturday, and by that time the music was loud and felt like it was turning into a night bar/club. We couldn't always hear our conversation and it was just 2 people at a small table.

I always enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere every time I come. Our lovely server Alaysia was beyond amazing!

I went for Saturday morning brunch and we were the only table so you think we’d have excellent service right? Wrong! The waiters were busy watching soccer on the tv and we waited 30 minutes until I got fed up and had to call them over to order. Then, the food took another 30 minutes to arrive. Mind you, it was a table of 4 people and we were the only people in the whole restaurant. It was a whole hour from sitting down to getting food which is ridiculous when you have full wait staff and cooks. I got the breakfast pizza and it was sad, just a singular egg and some spinach that honestly tasted expired. My friends at least liked their food. After all this, they overcharged me $25 for the pizza when it should have been $19. I’m not interested in going back after this. The only positive is that the ambience was nice while I chatted with my friends for an hour waiting to eat but the experience ruined it for us. Go at your own risk.

Nice happy hour menu if you're looking for a quick place to get a bite to eat and drink without spending a ton.

I moved from Stamford to Florida 4 years ago, when I lived here I frequented Bar Rosso often. I was in town for only a day yesterday, and found myself bear Spring Street, so I took my daughter here for lunch. It was as great as I remembered. The pizza is extraordinary. Good to know that this this place is still here and doing a great job!

I don’t know if they are not doing well but I was charged 3 dollars for blue cheese stuffed olives my martini was 25 dollars. Also 3 dollars for one piece of bread? The bread is not good at all. They should let guest know of up charges that most places do not charge.

The flank steak was tough & too dry. The panna cotta was awful. Not worth the money. Disappointed!

Hands down, one of the best caesar salads i’ve ever had. Great espresso martinis. Giant pretzel is also delicious. Highly recommend going here!

Had a fun Friday night hanging out at Bar Rosso. Food was excellent. Started with cocktails and their version of a meat and cheese board. Finished with a couple dishes including the grilled lamb chops with fresh mint, simply outstanding.

Have to give a shout out to all the staff including Caesar, Juan and Eduardo. Great service. Hit Juan up for the BlackBerry Sunset Whiskey Sour. You won’t be disappointed.
