Great food, BUT when i call for pick up they always SCREW my order, i order plantains all the times and for some reason they ALWAYS forget to put the sauce for plantains and those plantains without the sauce are a waste of money.
08/04/24 HERE WE GO AGAIN!!! Ordered $120 of tacos and guess what? No sauce for the tacos, really anoying because i leve 5 miles away, i think this was my last time, they screwed my order so many times with no sauces, so if you order make sure you open the bag amd ask for sauces,

Atmosphere fantastic! Cozy! Staff great! If you want teeny tiny tacos then yes the place for you! The tacos were much too small. Very tasty but tiny. This took “One bite, everybody knows the rules,” to a new level. I walked by Sally’s on way to car and was still so hungry but I already spent $36 on one meal so I held back on another. At least I didn’t over eat tonight.

Bartaco serves yummy Mexican style food at reasonable prices. We had guacamole and chips ( they were lightly seasoned for extra umph!). The fish tacos were fresh and tasty. We order sauce on the side but really didn’t need it. Our order of plantains were fried to perfection. My cousin also had a nice fresh chopped salad and a margarita. I enjoyed their limeade agua fresco. The service was friendly and prompt. My only complaint was the music was way too loud and we couldn’t hold a conversation. Otherwise it was a 10 out of 10. As a Stamford native, I’m always taken aback by the major changes. I like this change though. This is not the Summer Street of my youth!

Based on other reviews we tried Bartaco and we were disappointed. Guacamole was spiceless and tasteless as were the tortilla chips (clearly not made in house). The tacos, while inspired in concept were lacking flavor. Lobster street corn was our best bite, but not stellar. Tacos are 3 bite tacos which is fine. Our party of three ordered 5 tacos with plans to order more, however after tasting what was served, we opted to be done. Overall, there are better option if desiring bold flavors.

Location is great! Service is hit or miss but 99% of the people are going to be super nice. The food is great and they take care of you if you have allergies. The new outdoor sitting is gorgeous and the food comes pretty fast. The drinks are always FIRE! Their bartender knows what he is doing. It can get really loud on weekends to the point that you don’t hear the person next to you

I love the tacos here. I have tried most of the different types of meat in the tacos, and my favorites are the duck and the pork. Besides tacos, the other dishes are also very delicious. They are all light and comforting, perfect for any season, though summer is the best. The service is always good, and the outdoor seating and indoor atmosphere are great. Definitely recommend!

If you say food is ready at a certain time and then you have to wait 30’mins that ridiculous!! Don’t say it’s going to be ready when it’s not!
