It's a great Sicilian slice just different than it used to be not as thick as before but still a great crust pomodoro sauce and nicely cheesed. Has a true Brooklyn sauce taste as it always has. What surprised me is the crust is now thinner square than typical Sicilian but has the chew and bottom of a Brooklyn Sicilian slice.Rivals Glenville Pizzeria for best Sicilian.
Don't care what Dave portnoy says, you want an Italian slice? This is your spot, good undercarriage, great cheese to sauce ratio with a soft yet crunchy crust. Belltown pizza where Italy brought some flavor to Stamford.
Yes, they make great pizza. They could make the greatest pizza if they upped the portions. I ordered a large pie with 1/2 sausage and mushrooms and extra cheese. Barely could see either topping. It was gathered in one spot on the pie. If you are gonna give miniscule toppings at least spread it out and make look like a lot. Crust tasted great but in my opinion should be a little thicker. The amount of cheese is what I would consider normal for a small pie , but I did pay for...
