I’m truly disappointed with you guys. Back in 2022 I received a $200 gift certificate. Between chemo and life mishaps I was unable to go. Few months ago I called to see if I would still be able to use the certificate and was told it never expires. Also note there’s no expiration date written on it. Only to my surprise I’m not being told that I can not use it and it’s only valid for 6 months. This is horrible business. $200 down the drain is no joke and is extremely unexceptionable.
Might have been a bad day. Silverware was dirty. It took an hour to get burgers. Ordered a medium rare burger, got one that was well done. Sent it back and was given a burger for another order but it was well done too. Expensive put experience.

The service is uneven at the bar. My first visit was phenomenal, but the second one was atrocious. I was asked to clear my plate twice despite having a drink and recently asked for a refill on my "coke" (Pepsi is served).
Food is good and filet is of very high quality, though sides are poorly seasoned.
They also sing birthday songs, almost like a Texas Roadhouse.
I will not be coming back.

Unfortunately, I cannot write about the quality of the food because I didn't get the chance to eat, due to complete incompetence by the wait staff. By incompetence, I mean we sat down for 15 minutes without any service, despite the restaurant being mostly empty so I just walked out. It's as if these people have absolutely no clue on how to run a restaurant. There is a reason this place is empty, and my guess it will close down soon, meaning the people who run the restaurant can find a job they are probably more adept at, such as picking trash.. actually people who pick trash have far more skill than the people who run this restaurant.

Came to this location on valentines Day, arrived at 8:30, was immediately seated in the back of the restaurant. I was surprised there was no wait even though the restaurant seemed very busy. The atmosphere seemed very nice and that was the end of my experience. We were never given a menu. The waiter came to tables around our location to take orders and provide drinks, not once did he approach us. We were seated next to the kitchen, so our table was very visible. It is now 10:00 pm and we just chose to get up and leave. Still haven't been approached by anyone, not even to fill my glass with water. Seems like a nice place. I wish I had gotten a chance to expirence the food instead of being seated and forgotten 😕

Terrible all around.. made reservations for 9:15, got seated at around 9:20 which was the only thing they done about right here. We sat around for about 15 mins before a waiter came to greet us, she took our order. And we order everything all at once (drinks, app, and entree’s) so that way we didn’t have to wait long. They only brought out the drinks and appetizer. Me and my partner were talking and realized the waiter hadn’t came to check on us for a while. Then we realized the people that got sat down after us had received their food first. I tried to wait it out, but before we knew it the time was 10:50. The waiter never came to check on us or anything. Once she finally came over, I told her to just give us the check, she then reaches for my card without even giving us the check first. I think they are unprofessional knowing that today is Valentine’s Day also, I know days like this are busy but we came at the end of the night and there were barely anyone there. We also seen multiple people end up leaving. Which makes me believe they are just terrible at customer service. Sucks to hear good things about a place and then have a terrible first experience. I will never go back there ever again. They also gave us the smallest table in the whole room. Highly don’t recommend Blackstone of Stamford, better off going to a new location.

The fried calamari was exquisite especially with the sauce. The waiter was very nice and professional. The steak was a little bit dry and not And not fully cooked. The lava cake was VERY DRY , there was no chocolate coming out of the cake.

We could not get a waiter to help us at all. Steak we ordered medium came out raw twice and the third time well done and dry. Terrible experience

This place has so much potential. Located on the corner of Broad street in the center of Stamford’s downtown area, I choose this after considering several others. Ordered the Tomahawk steak for 2 , tuna tar tar, mozzarella and tomato’s starters, Brussel sprouts and a French Cabernet. Cabernet was over priced and bad, so I next chose a bottle Moët. Waiter came back a few minutes later and said he was out of Moët and the other high end options?😏 This is the week before Thanksgiving and you are low on inventory? It would have been nice if the waiter knew what was available, but he didn’t. The waiter was a nice guy, but didn’t mention any specials, nor did he offer recommendations of spirits. Next came the food, steak ordered medium rare wasn’t the best cut. Think Sizzler vs. Gallagher’s. Prosecco option was decent, mozzarella was good, nice wedge of tomato and onion, Tar Tar didn’t blow me away, and overall service wasn’t what I expected from a good waiter who would better serve customers by being proactive vs. reactive. This seems to be a chain that needs a little overall tuneup to get it right on food, staff and spirits. Not a go to in the future. Cmon Stamford - you can do better.☺️

After getting proposed to, my family and I saw the restaurant and decided to give it a shot. Instead of politely telling us if they were full or even to see if they had any room for us... We were ignored while the restaurants bar was empty and the place was quiet. I would understand if this was a reservation only place, or even if we were told it was full and that there would be a wait. We would of left immediately. We waited patiently for 20 minutes. One man walked in, a waiter finally walked up and asked if the man and us were all together (as if they would finally seat us). When we said we were not with the man, we were ignored (even the random man apologized to us as he led to be seated). Finally we all walked out.
On the street two random women recommended a nice little Italian restaurant down the street that ended up saving the day.
The building and restaurant look amazing but the service is subpar.

The restaurant was empty at noon on a gorgeous Sunday. The maître D tried to put me at a table for two that was dark and in a corner I objected he then wanted to see me at a banquet that could've said eight people for just the two of us, I finally picked a table for four in the main dining room. A hamburger in a steakhouse should've been delicious. The meat did not taste fresh, the bacon seem to have been cooked the day before, and the french fries were cold. My guest had taken eggs and that was Unadorned. He asked for a non-alcoholic beer was told they had one and then the waitress came back and told us that they didn't. He asked for a diet soda and there was no diet soda to be had so he settled for an iced tea. The service was terrible, we had to constantly look for our waitress to clear the table service birthday dessert and bring us the check. I would not recommend Blackstones to anyone as it has really gone downhill. I paid $100 for lunch for two and would've complained and sent my hamburger back, but I didn't want to ruin the birthday Celebration with an argument over a $25 hamburger which was unappealing and the meat smelled old. Blackstones may have been good when it started, but it has gone downhill this last year. Several friends have also eaten here and said it is horrible. Sorry to say I would not have said anything, but you sent me a questionnaire, and as an honest person, I had to be honest.
The food was divine and our waiter Bujar, made excellent suggestions for our engagement dinner! We’ll definitely come back!

I spent my birthday dinner with friends and family at the Blackstone Steakhouse in Stamford CT, and 'OMG' was the word of the night. The food was beyond delicious, the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to make my day special. Every year, I usually try a new restaurant and all I can say is, I will return … OMG ...THANK You!!! Thank you for this amazing birthday dinner ?

I had high hopes for what looked like a high-end steakhouse, but the reality was a major letdown. Despite the upscale presentation, the quality was nowhere near what you'd expect. The steak was tough, chewy, and completely flavorless. There wasn't even a hint of salt, making the meal incredibly bland. We ended up sending back 80% of the order because it was simply not the kind of steak you'd expect from a place that positions itself as a steakhouse—more like a low-quality diner steak, unfortunately. The service added to the disappointment, with vague assurances that fell far short of making things right.
