Reservations are a must. Parking is quite difficult. Food portions generous. You must enjoy Italian American style (not real Italian) in abundance. Service is hit or miss depending on how busy it gets or whether the regulars take the attention of staff. Given the lack of good restaurants in Stamford, this is above average than the other pizza, burger, wings, chains, faux-Asian, and Italian-American places.

The food was amazing as usual. And the service is excellent!!Vegetarian options: There are pasta options, salads, and apps that are vegetarian. Also gluten-free optionsDietary restrictions: They can prepare things to specifications.Parking: They have a limited number of parking spaces. But the food is worth parking elsewhere and walking.

All of my friends who love Italian food swear by this spot, and even though Italian is not my first choice of cuisine, I'd have to agree that it is wonderful. Great atmosphere where you can dine for hours, warm and inviting.

My absolute favorite Restaurant in Stamford. Well worth any wait or need to make a reservation. I recommend making a reservation as I am not the only fan.

I can't believe I never wrote a review for this lovely restaurant! The very first time I came I had never heard of it but my two coworkers raved about it so I just had to check it out. Some limited street parking and a couple parking areas were available. My coworker made the reservation and we were seated promptly. The service was amazing, the waiter was so hilarious we had so many belly laughs the entire evening. We started with some calamari which was delicious, and I had the lasagna for dinner and wow the portion! We had the tiramisu for dessert and the lava cake as well. The tiramisu was perfect! The second time I came it was much less busy and our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. I had the veal milanese and of course the tiramisu yet again. The food was amazing. The place feels a little small when it's super busy. The service was also great. It got a little loud the first time as the evening went on. And I tried to make a reservation for a few friends but we didn't get one so that was a bummer!

Great food! Very good service! Hard to get reservations- must reserve way in advance! But it is worth the wait!

This is an amazing spot however I would say their pasta dishes are just a notch above other entrees. Whatever you choose can’t really go wrong! Just a matter of preference with your selection. And wine by the glass is amazing here!

The food is good but I honestly think that people overhyped this place a lot! The food is fresh and this place is a solid choice with no complaints I can pick out. But I wouldn't put this place in my top 5 favorite Italian restaurants. To elaborate, there are some restaurants where I cannot get enough of the vodka pasta or garlic oil sauce dip cuz the food is so addicting, or I am ready to lick the plate for additional pesto sauce. This wasn't one of those places, but I did push myself to finish my entire meal, which is impressive. They get so busy that even on a random weeknight night you may be unable to get a seat unless you have a reservation. I tried the Rigatoni Ract Ract and the lasagne and the pasta portion was very generous for the price ($22). It's positioned as a more high end but cozy establishment where you can take your clients or date to impress. This place is obviously beloved by locals.

I always bring my guests there before they leave my house. If it is easier to get the reservation, I’d go more often. Try seafood pasta with squid ink spaghetti, really good.
