Carvel ice cream is the best especially soft serve and ice cream cakes like Fudgy the Whale. Inside is dilapidated with lots of remnants of what was including an offer than expired Memorial day is still up past Halloween. But there’s no seating inside anyway, it’s only outside. In back there are picnic tables overlooking a beautiful pond. A little dingy on the outside of what used to be a bank drive though and ATM.

This ice cream chain by the lakeside is a must stop if you are in the area. We had the vanilla bean scoop and banana froster sundae. Both were rich, creamy and bursting with flavor. They have ice cream cakes too. Highly recommend them.
