Went in there today 4/4/24 around 4:30 pm. I asked for the double soft serve cone and a cup of cookies and cream ice cream. Welp I guess I didn’t have the look of being in there. I was continuously reminded of the prices of both as again o guess o didn’t look like I belonged there. I assured the male worker I could afford what I came to buy and he still kept reminding me of the prices. This was my second time there. I gave the male worker some advice which was NEXT TIME A BLACK PERSON COMES IN TO BUY ICE-CREAM PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME THEY CAN NOT AFFORD IT. I will never return there

Doordashed an order from this location. Ordered a vanilla sunda with brownie bites and sprinkles ONLY. It arrived with everything shoved into a cup and also ingredients I did not order such as chocolate syrup and peanut butter (mind you I have a peanut butter allergy) This place just does whatever they want. Bad service.Dietary restrictions: I have a peanut butter allergy and they put PB in sundae

Ugh, ice cream one of my many weaknesses, including Reese's Sundae Dashers, and Oreo Shakes! Carvel makes probably one of the tastiest softserves you can get period. The parking area is small, so if you're parking challenged or your worried about other parking challenged drivers, use the empty lot behind the dinner 100 feet to the left. If you've never had Carvel, all I can say is try it :)

I went to this location on the afternoon of June 27, 2023, and to be clear, another person went into the store to order on my behalf, so I can't comment on how the interior of the store looks or how the employees conducted themselves. I will, however, say that the ice cream tasted fresh and whoever made my order of chocolate soft serve with whipped cream, oreo cookies, and hot fudge did a good job. Also, we must have come at the perfect time because our order was done within 5 minutes. Shockingly, it didn't melt quickly in the humid weather and make a drippy mess down the side of the cup, unlike other ice cream places in the summer months. My only tip to make this 5 stars is to give plenty of napkins to customers in case the ice cream does melt quickly

Now listen up folks, you can either go down to the Dairy Queen on Summer Street and wait in a lengthy line or you can go to Carvel right off of Long Ridge Road with virtually no wait. Both are great. If you do choose DQ pick me up a Peanut Buster Parfait.
I went last night (2/18) and bought a soft serve cup and a hard packed cup. Fast service and delicious!

I came for some of Carvel's staple ice cream. I wasn't disappointed with the ice cream or their general selection of treats at a some what decent price. I had the Banana foster, Oreo dasher and vanilla chocolate cone. Everything was made correctly.Only thing is this location is rather small, so it will be pretty tight if there is any type of line. Which it was, the line was so long it went out the door. Once again because this location is smaller, this happens often unfortunately. The location is right off the parkway in both directions and it's the only Carvel in Stamford. Next closest I believe is Norwalk and Portchester. The employees do what they can to move the line, sometimes in their rush they do make mistake, but this isn't a regular occurrence. There is a parking lot, it's a decent size, laid out a little strangely but there is one.I would recommend this location, just make sure you add extra time.

My sister recommended this ice cream shop while I was in town. I've always loved carvel ice cream cakes growing up so I had to try. We went together on a weekday. The line was long but moved fast. The service was friendly as well. It's a cute classic shop with various ice cream for scooping, to-go cakes/cookie sandwiches, and mini desserts, and shakes/soft serve ~ they'll definitely be something for everyone if you come in a group or buying for a group. I got the classic rocky road flavor in a waffle cone. Highly recommend!
