Acuario next door is top notch and consistent, don't waste your time trying this spot. We decided to give them a shot only 3 reviews but thought let's switch it up. Also, everything that's pictured on yelp is not on their menu, it's only Peruvian food.25 minutes after ordering...Round 1 drinks: (2) margaritas which were basically traditional marg mix on ice loaded with sugar - we left these full after a sip and no one asked if everything was ok even after we ordered a beer immediately after. Round 2 app: Mix ceviche shrimp was bad had to spit it out, after that didn't trust the rest. Round 3 entree: we ordered (2) 1/2 chicken, one with chaufa one with white rice, what we got (1) 1/4 chicken no rice and (1) 1/2 chicken the chicken was so salty our lips were burning.Service: slow and inattentive- we asked for our check 3x and during our meal they kept asking "do you want more water""Do you want us to clear your empty plates" this shouldn't be asked it should just be done plus we never got the water refill we agreed to. If you think they may have been busy and worth trying still after reading this review, there was (1) additional table inside.....

The service is bad. the server did not know what she was doing or what was in the menu. we asked for ceviche we got mussels??? no sense what so ever. They even printed their employees scheduled on one of the menus…this place does not have an identity. are they peruvian, are they mexican, colombian, we don’t know???

Loved this restaurant and definitely will go back. The food is amazing and good portion. Reasonable prices and good environment. Recommend it 100% I ate there and also order another order of the Mexican Nachos to take home. Delicious

Unhelpful staff blame you for a bunch of their made up lies to make you look bad to my close DJ friends... I will have to go back and give them one more chance.... worst service I've seen at a bar in stamford and it sucks to say that!

Worst customer service ever! We wanted to watch a game and eat/drink. Made a table reservation for 6 people. Got there 5 min before reservation and all tables were occupied. Their answer was because we were supposed to get there half hour before, which first they never mentioned and second, what’s the point of making a reservation if they are going to occupied tables first come first served lol they ended up given us a table with two chairs for six people. We then ordered a bucket of beers (8 beers) which took 30 min to bring out and were brought out with no ice, no bucket saying they ran out of buckets lol. What a joke! Obviously we said if they could take the beers back as they were going to get warm, and the “waitress” said that it was not her problem. Don’t waste your time going there unless you want to get aggravated.
