We had wanted to try Chez Vous Bistro for a while and finally did. Frankly I was underwhelmed. Not that there was anything egregiously wrong with it, but there was nothing that screamed "come back!" I ordered the sole meuniere, and the portion was basically the size of a fish stick.
To top things off, on a not-busy night, we literally waited a half-hour for our check.

French food is a difficult subject. To get it right is a art most places get wrong, including the French. The standard test is the French onion soup. Simple but rarely any good. This place deserves a Mitchelin Star it is so rare to find a French restaurant this good! And its in America ? this little place hidden between Irish bars and the random restaurants is an absolutely gem of luxury French art. The Chef is one the best I have come across. Go here and take your time eating. I cannot understand how this American place got French better than most of the French ? go here its better than great.

I went yesterday for lunch and was so disappointed. The salad was so bland, the pasta was not much tastier, and the strawberry tart was nothing to remember. The place was empty, but the service was slow, very nice, but slow.

My rating of any French restaurant usually starts with how they prepare their duck. Duck is not easy to cook. Chez Vous makes the best duck I've ever had. Aside from that, everything is good. From the appetizer to the desert. The service is great. They definitely earn my 5 star rating.

This long established bistro is a jewel. Most French food is beyond everyone’s price range, but the food here is quality French food, with excellent wines to complement, and best of all, affordable. When I’m in Stamford, it’s one of the highlights of my visit. The owners are attentive and hands on. Long live Chez Vous!

Great food and service! We had the steak au poivre and it was cooked perfectly, my partner loved the French onion soup as well. We had an excellent strawberry tart for dessert and there was a fantastic wine selection too. The chef came out and said hello to everyone and the ambiance was fantastic with the windows looking out to the busy street. Service was excellent, and all around we had a wonderful time. This is a great spot for a family dinner or a date night - we’ll definitely be back.

This is a nice French bistro located in downtown Stamford. We went in a large group of 7 with a baby stroller, and the restaurant was gracious to find us a spot with lower ambience for the baby. As for the food, we loved the charcuterie and the ossobucco heirloom pork. For us, the duck confit was a bit too dry and had too much fat on the skin. The kale flan was okay but the portion was too large. Overall, a great atmosphere and service, while the food left some things to be desired.

We had the foie gras to start and it was amazing. We then had the escargots, so delicious. The chicken, the sole meunière, the shrimp scampi, the steak au poivre, the osso bucco everything was extraordinary. We were a party of 8 and had exceptional service by Thibaut. Thank you we will come back.

The worst charcuterie I’ve ever had. Deli meat and canned ingredients. For 30$ it’s ridiculous. Any where else on Bedford will be a better choice and use of your time.

Chez Vous is absolutely phenomenal. They were so welcoming and accommodating with both helping me in/getting situated as a wheelchair user. They have an incredibly flexible menu for folks with food allergies or dietary restrictions. The waitstaff was beyond courteous and kind. The icing on the cake is that the food is absolutely spectacular! This experience was one of the happiest memories of my life—to be treated so well, and to have so many options to choose from! This restaurant epitomizes everything that is right with the world, and we will definitely be back. Please support them! You won’t regret it at all.
