Chutni Biryani & Noodle Bar offers a mixed dining experience with some dishes being reasonably good while others fall short. The food and staff have received praise for being excellent, with friendly service and great attention to flavors. The restaurant is considered one of the best for Indian food in downtown Stamford. However, the service can still be lacking at times, with slow communication and only one server for the whole restaurant. When the place is not crowded, food arrives quickly. The ambience indoors is not welcoming, but outdoor seating is available. The Chicken 65 Biryani and tandoori wings are highly recommended, along with flavorful gravies. Vegetarian options like Tarkari biryani, Paneer butter masala, and Vegetable fried rice are available. The indo-chinese food selection, including Fried rice, gobi Manchurian, and Chicken Manchurian, is also worth trying. They offer a decent kids menu and have received positive feedback for catering orders.
