Terrible portions. The chicken was pink and was too charred to eat. Had to throw it out also the nann had too much garlic but was not that bad.

Ordered egg biryani and I was so so disappointed with the taste.

I have been regularly ordering egg biryani and it tasted so amazing earlier, worth the money BUT now, the egg biryani tastes more like clove biryani.

No flavor at all. Not worth the money.

The food and staff here are excellent. Always friendly service, and I appreciate how much attention they give to the flavors of their dishes. This is the best Indian food in downtown Stamford.

Really love the food. Only thing is it’s so salty, I had to constantly drink water the entire day and was dehydrated. Also made me use the bathroom too much for a few days.

This was our second visit to Chutneys. And our first visit we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was hence took the trip. Unfortunately both the food and service levels were not up to the mark to say the least. Not sure why the exact same dishes that we had ordered last time tasted very different and stale. We especially came back for Zafrrani biryani but it dissapointed. The service was so slow and almost every time we asked for something it took the server at least 15 min to get it and that too not done right. I had hoped a good dining experience but unfortunately it wasn’t.

The chili chicken was pretty good but the egg fried rice and noodles were ok. Portion sizes were good, big portions

We have mostly taken out or done catering orders with them for couple of parties. Sharath is a very good individual to work with on large orders. Everything that we have ordered has always been high quality, tasty food.

Chutni is definitely worth trying especially for indo-chinese food selection. Fried rice, gobi Manchurian, Chicken Manchurian is definitely worth trying.
Ambience is okay but food is definitely good

Vegetarian options: Vegetable fried rice, gobi Manchurian is definitely worth trying

I’ve ordered shezwan chicken biryani , the chicken was very bland and over fried, hard to bite and too chewy, like plastic.
Hate to say this but only when you go there and order they have good quality or else for delivery seems like they don’t care too much.

Food: some are reasonably good; others subpar. Hence the mid tier rating. The basic Indochinese staples like Haka noodles are acceptable but other dishes are not.Service: terrible in communication. Advertises and also writes on a chalkboard inside the restaurant that there is a weekday buffet but they don't have one. When asked why they even write it as such in bold, their response: no sir, no sir! Only one server for the entire restaurant. Slow in taking orders, and getting rhe check. But since no one was there in the two occasions I went, the food came reasonably fast.Ambience: depressing. I didn't experience the outdoor sitting (the weather wasn't cooperating) but inside was not quite welcoming.
