The food and staff here are excellent. Always friendly service, and I appreciate how much attention they give to the flavors of their dishes. This is the best Indian food in downtown Stamford.
This was our second visit to Chutneys. And our first visit we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was hence took the trip. Unfortunately both the food and service levels were not up to the mark to say the least. Not sure why the exact same dishes that we had ordered last time tasted very different and stale. We especially came back for Zafrrani biryani but it dissapointed. The service was so slow and almost every time we asked for something it took the server...
We have mostly taken out or done catering orders with them for couple of parties. Sharath is a very good individual to work with on large orders. Everything that we have ordered has always been high quality, tasty food.
