I had a $700 dollar catering order delivered from Coal House on Saturday, and while the food itself was good, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and poor attention to detail from Coal house. The pizza, which was supposed to be delivered at 5:30 PM, didn’t arrive until 6:30 PM—an hour late—without any update from the restaurant. I had to call at 6:00 PM to check on the order, and the staff was confused and unapologetic. To make matters worse, the gluten-free pizzas were not labeled as per the quote instructions, leaving us to guess which ones were gluten-free, which caused frustration for those with dietary restrictions as they felt uncomfortable eating the pizza.
While the food was good, the poor service and lack of professionalism have made me hesitant to recommend Coal House catering. I will not be using their catering services again based on this experience.

MICE! Running around on the floor and into the kitchen! We have eaten here many times and have had an OK experience. However, my wife and I went to dinner here on 10/28/2024. While eating, we saw mice running from where people were sitting into the kitchen! My wife jumped nearly out of her seat and insisted on leaving without even having another bite. We informed the people working there, but there was no urgency, just an acknowledgment that they had a mice problem. GROSS, we will not be back!

The food was great. The staff was awesome and so kind. They understood we needed our food and drinks quickly so we could get back to work. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. The music and ambiance are more of a jazz style but awesome.

I enjoyed amazing sweet Thai chili wings, extra crispy; Boogie Chillen salad with Cajun chicken; and chili nachos. The nachos were incredible, with beautifully seasoned beans.

Ordered two pizzas and two drinks, sat by the bar. Bill came and I tipped on the receipt because I did not have cash. So I know what the total was after tipping. Looked at my bank statement few days later, the $ amount was more than what I had paid on the receipt… Not happy. Will not come back

So a Frank Pepe's Pizza opened up near me...cool... okay pizza, but it ain't no Camilli's...#iykyk Meanwhile... awesome place, Coalhouse, across the street, is the freaking best place! Our server last night was amazing...even put on a replay of game 7 for yr Florida Panthers girl... The menu is off the charts! I forget the name of the pie we got, but it was a white pizza with figs and prosciutto... Plus...nice old fashioned...does Pepe's even have a bar??? So... get off the pizza bandwagon on High Ridge Rd and support a local place that was here first and has a full bar!!

Cool space but the service and food were just OK. Great bartender but our server was super slow. Took forever to take our order. Pizza came out seconds after the salads. The pizza was 1/3 crust. The plain pizza was good but The flavor was bland. The honey pizza tasted like sugar. Good salads. Expensive for what you get.

Great food, absolutely terrible service. The first table that we sat at, was right by the windows. It was unbelievably hot and there were bugs flying around the table all evening until I asked to be moved. I don't know if I'll go back, maybe take out, but definitely not dining in

Went in around 5 on a Friday. Was seated and given menus. Waited about 15 minutes NOBODY CAME OVER, WAITED ANOTHER 15 MINUTES STILL NOBODY. Finally got up and left. Not like it was busy, only another table of 4 and they had their food. WILL NEVER GO BACK, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY. Went to Rikos, seated right away had drinks and ordered food in 5 minutes.

Extensive pizza, beer and whiskey options. Service is good, reliably fast. There was a live band tonight. They have bar in the back room with multiple TV screens for whoever wants to watvh a game.
