Babii Eats a lot
After seeing their stand at the Hope in Motion cancer walk each year (with free treats!), I stopped in today when they handed me a “today only” free loaf card — and I’m glad I did. I picked an olive loaf; my partner chose a berry & white chocolate scone, and I grabbed a lemon blueberry scone (since their famous cinnamon rolls were sold out). My daughter loved the chocolate croissant, and we all enjoyed a shareable apple danish — which, per Tom, tastes amazing warmed with ice cream.
Tom at the counter was outstanding — warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. He patiently walked us through the selection and helped us choose, all with a genuine smile.
Everything is baked fresh daily (never frozen), with quality ingredients and traditional techniques. The selection includes artisan loaves, bagels, rolls, and pastries like danish and those sought-after cinnamon rolls.
I also appreciate that unsold goods are donated daily to local charities through their End of Day Giving program — a great community touch.

COBS Bread has become one of my weekend go to stops before visiting my parents in Stamford. My family and I really enjoy their sourdough bread loaf! The staff is always friendly, attentive and personable. The store is also very generous giving out complimentary treats and samples to try. The store has many seasonal specials that are must tries!

Best bread on the Yeast Coast, and in the nation, thanks to the Aussie owner who brought the delightful art of Australian and British style bread-baking to the United States at long last! Hope to see lots more of these joints rising up. Don't forget to bring your dough though or you'll be toast ;) These guys def don't loaf around, you can crust them to only make the best.
