The Texas cheeseburger and hotdog are out of this world amazing. The fries are bad. The fries should be on par with the sandwiches. Cut them fresh and there wouldn’t be any problem. As is they’re soggy and weak sauce.

I visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation and was looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a misunderstanding as the staff assumed I wasn’t with the person I came in with and seemed to overlook my presence entirely. Despite this, the food, although it took a while, was quite good. However, due to how I was treated during the ordering process, this might be my first and last visit. My wife and I love trying places that are small and local. Cove Beach Grill is AWESOME and a must try! They are a little off of exit 9 in Stamford. Worth the little detour. I had the Petey burger and my wife and a Double cheeseburger with fries. The fries were GREAT! The double was DELICIOUS, the Petey was INCREDIBLE and deserves to be known across the nation! If you are a foodie this is your spot!!!
