I’ve been a loyal customer of Cove Pizza for years. It used to be my go-to — dependable, familiar, and consistent. But after my recent experience, I won’t be going back. What happened wasn’t just disappointing — it was completely unacceptable.
I placed an online order for pickup, like I’ve done many times before. When I arrived, I was told my order was gone — the delivery driver had mistakenly taken it. Instead of remaking the food or offering a real solution, the cashier told me to just go home and wait for the driver to bring it. I live three minutes away. I waited over two hours.
When the food finally arrived, it was cold. My salad was missing dressing — including the extra I had paid for. I called the restaurant, expecting at least a basic apology. Instead, I was told that if I wanted the dressing, I’d need to come pick it up myself. No accountability, no care — just a “not our problem” attitude.
So I returned with the cold food, calmly, expecting someone to make it right.
Instead, a man came out from the kitchen and immediately started telling me to be quiet — no explanation, no apology, just aggression. Then, in front of my son, he raised his middle finger and started yelling. I was stunned. And then I realized — he smelled like alcohol. Strongly.
How is that even possible? How is someone allowed to be drunk at work — in the kitchen, around food, interacting with customers?
The whole situation was disturbing. I left feeling disrespected and shocked. This wasn’t just a service failure — it was an absolute breakdown of professionalism and basic decency.

Went to this pizza spot with a few friends, and honestly, it was a terrible experience. The staff was super rude from the moment we walked in. We had to wait way longer than expected for our food, and when we asked about it, we were met with attitude. The pizza wasn’t even that great. It was cold and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Definitely won’t be coming back. If you’re looking for good service and better pizza, keep looking.

Sent my husband lunch. 2 pizzas, wings and a soda. When they opened the box, the pizza was folded all to one side as of the pizza were dropped or carried incorrectly. Called to report the issue and was told a replacement would be sent. The pizza never arrived and the business was about to close so I called back. Due to the driver denying dropping it and a picture of a CLOSED Pizza box being sent they refused to do anything. Not the customer service you would expect from an establishment that has been around that long. Bring your business to somewhere that actually cares!!

Grew up with this food so i might be biased but this is the best pizza in stamford. When i was a little kid the older owner would give me free slices through the window. Till this day i have no idea what happened to him but he was such a kind soul and only made the restaurant and food better.

I just order for pizza and calzones here, but I've been happy. Pizza has a good taste. Crust is cooked good, sauce is sweet and seasoned well, right amount of cheese. Calzones they actually use ricotta and the right amount, seems to be a rarity here finding calzones with ricotta. Overall pretty good. Beats out most of the pizzerias locally.

$9.99 for 4 ice cold kids ravioli. You guys have the audacity to charge $2.50 for each ravioli?
I dont care what anyone says but there slices are super good and have a crunch. They have so manu variety of dishes. The chicken vegetable soup is fire also

This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant. Parking is always available. The delivery driver is always sitting in a booth. You can see the staff making the food. Very friendly. The food is great. But you gotta try the Lomo Saltado and Pollo Saltado. This is Chifa - Peruvian Chinese food!

Stopped by for lunch today. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ pizza and was able to customize it. I didn't have to wait long for the pizza, and it tasted good. Decent prices too! Glad I decided to try it.

I ordered two items for pick up, and I only got 1 of my sandwiches. Then after speaking with the staff they delivered the other sandwich but the avocado wasn't fresh and the sandwich was very bland and disappointing. The fries and the sandwich were cold and the entire thing was just unappetizing.
