After a successful drop off in Stamford, CT…., it was past noon and I needed some coffee and pancakes— Not disappointed— I love Diners anyway—so Curley’s old rustic atmosphere fit the bill.

Been hearing about this place for a while finally decided to check it out.. big mistake. Staff were very rude and impatient. Treated my family as if they hated their jobs. Our seating area was filthy. I couldnt tell if the restaurant itself or the food had an unpleasant smell. Food was horrible, one of my family members food arrived at the table cold and potatoes tasted stale. Staff was disrespectful when we asked to take the plate back. The meat tasted spoiled; at loss of flavor for the plates overall. Our drinks were watered down. We asked the wait staff for a few accommodations to our meals and she was very rude and unhappy to tweak our meals almost tried to force us to take it as is; as one of my family members had allergies we couldn’t just take it however it came. All in all 0 out of 10. Staff were very unaccommodating and nasty. Got disrespected for asking for accommodations. Never again, i would never recommend this place. Besides the food smelling and tasting flavorless & horrible the staff were horrible as well which makes the experience regrettable

Rude rude rude. The lady with all the face fillers tried to curse me out in languages that I understand because the food she served tasted rotten. While I would happily pay for the whole restaurants shitty food, she tried to say we didn't want to pay for the disgusting philly cheesecake we got and didn't eat. The burger was fine, the fries were fine, the philly meat was rotten. This could've been handled completely different but the lack of professionalism really set a bad tone for me. She then started talking to other customers about us and the situation like I didn't understand her... if your restaurant is failing and you're poor... just say so darling but don't treat us like we don't know what rotten meat smells like. Btw we split this and took 1 bite between us... clearly 👎🏽

We had a terrible experience here. The sandwich we ordered smelled rotten — like spoiled meat — and was completely inedible. We told the staff right away that we weren’t satisfied and didn’t want to pay for something that could make someone sick.
Instead of handling it professionally, the owner started yelling and cursing at us, claiming we “ate the whole sandwich.” As you can see from the photo, the sandwich was barely touched — anyone who ate it might have ended up in the hospital.
To make things worse, they even crossed out the amount on our receipt and wrote the same total back in. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This place needs to be inspected immediately — no one should be served food like that.

Really quick service and friendly staff. It's also easy to customize menu items to suit your dietary needs. I was a fan since my first visit and will always come back, especially for breakfast!

Old time diner with great staff and good food. Basic breakfast came out hot and was good. Endless coffee. Took a little long for food but we weren’t in a rush. Lots of locals. If you’re in area stop in!!

We're visiting for the week and decided to try this diner. Some of the reviews weren't the best but went anyway. We're so glad we did!! The food was delicious and the atmosphere quaint. The staff was delightful to talk to and we wish we had time to go again before we leave. It was one of the best experiences we had while in Stamford.

Very expensive. Service people very rude. Grilled cheese and order of French fries. Over 30.00 better off at Burger King or McDonald's.
I got sick from undercooked chicken tenders. Fries undercooked. Hair in my sandwich. They comped the tenders since they were partially raw - when we told the woman at the cash register about it she didn’t even apologize. Plus it’s expensive.

He got a hot turkey and potatoes platter and I got a turkey club sandwich. No drinks , no tip and the total was $51. Let that sink in. Make sure to ask for the total if you call directly to make your order .
