Dimare made a fantastic wedding cake and sheet cakes for our Aug 2025 wedding! The tasting service was amazing and they were right on time for delivery, plus the star berry shortcake flavor was amazing!

I am super grateful and happy with my order. It was difficult to find a pastry shop that agreed to make a burn out cake, and the other pastry shop that said yes was charging me the triple $$$. DiMare took all my calls and answered all my emails in less than 24 hours. They were super nice and helpful. I appreciate that they offered many options for my budget and that they were very flexible. I chose a “Piña Colada cake” and it was delicious. I am very picky with flavors and this cake was amazing. Everyone loved it 🧡.

What a wonderful experience.... I am a grandfather who lives out of town... And wanted to order cake and cupcakes for my grandchildren... I called spoke to a woman, and she was more then helpful... She was able to create wonderful cakes and cupcakes and deliver them the same day!!! must say customer service was outstanding!!! my grandkids loved every bit!! thank you from an out of town, grandpa!!!!

Usually always come here and the sweetest people help us out, but completely different scenario recently. I got a cake delivered to me about a month ago and the guy was extremely rude. I let it slide and didn’t say anything, but my daughter and I went to order a cake and the girl that helped us was extremely rude. We walked in and she was already upset about helping someone over the phone so she made the other girl go “deal with it” like she said, then while helping us she was nothing but rude trying to rush us with our order, mind you we were the only people in the shop so it wasn’t because she had other people to attend to she clearly just didn’t want to. If we asked her a question she would sigh and give us attitude, when we tried figuring out what kind of cake we wanted she responded for us like she was the one ordering the cake? We finished our order and she hadn’t asked us about pick up time or if we wanted it delivered so we asked if we could get it delivered and she rolled her eyes looked at us like we had just asked her to do the hardest task possible. We asked her if delivery wasn’t an option since she was just staring at us and she just responded giving us attitude once again saying that it would be an additional charge. We knew delivery was going to be an additional charge, and we had no problem paying for it but her attitude was completely uncalled for so we didn’t continue with our order. Her attitude was horrible and after this experience we definitely won’t be going back. I tried calling to make the complaint because my daughter and I were very aggravated in the moment and didn’t want to cause a scene and they picked up the phone but nobody said anything. If that girl doesn’t have the patience to help customers she shouldn’t be working in customer service. I wish we would’ve gotten her name so we could put it on here, but unfortunately in the heat of the moment we just left.

We just finished an amazing wedding cake tasting experience with Sabrina at one of the best bakeries in Connecticut. We went to the Stamford location and we were blown away! They had the largest variety of samples to choose from and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Full piece options to try & an iPad with so many styles to choose from made the process extremely easy. Check them out, it’s our go to place for birthdays treats and pastries as well! 🫧
Horrible service! 1st mistake understandable but twice?! They can’t find my order AGAIN! Told me someone already picked it up. So decided to make my order and was making a wrong flavor! They have the nerve to blame me that I ordered vanilla or whoever placed the order! Just terrible! Human error?! No! The business has been running for 30 years or more and this is an AMATURE mistake. This happened before with our order. So disappointed especially for years I recommended this place.

We ordered our wedding cake from DiMare Pastry Shop in Stamford and had a wonderful experience. We worked with Sabrina, who was very helpful. For our tasting, we tried so many pieces of cake, (11 flavors with generous sizes!) and she even gave us 3 pieces of our favorites to try at home before making our final decision. We chose the Raspberry Chambord (pic from the tasting included), and it was so delicious! The wedding cake also ended up beautiful - just what we asked for. So yummy, highlight recommend! Thank you Sabrina and DiMare Pastry Shop!
