DiMare made our wedding cake and it was unbelievable! Our guests are all asking about it. During our awesome tasting experience, we came up with a unique combination of flavors and they were able to execute it just right. The design was beautiful and they were so lovely to work with. We also last minute ordered additional cupcakes for our guests with special dietary needs and they delivered them along with our cake. Our only regret is that we did not get to thank them in person as they quietly delivered our cake without us even knowing! We’ll be back for sure!

The customer service has gone from a 5 star to a -5 stars. First and foremost if you are not a certain skin color you get ignored when you walk in, which makes perfect sense especially if you ever come across the owner spewing hate all over social media about his political views. Keep in mind as a business you need to keep your political opinions to yourself because not everyone chooses hate and you need to respect everyone but again it doesn’t seem they care. No one is EVER friendly in there, it’s almost like they’re bothered that you dare to bring them business. I have been coming here for over 15 years but I will never return. They clearly don’t care enough to have our business if they don’t feel they need to be kind and welcoming with their customers.

Always a pleasant experience when I visit DiMare's. The staff are very attentive, they try their best to be accommodating. For those of us that are also last minute pickers they provide patience and clarity when answering questions to make sure we are happy and satisfied. Their cakes & pastries always taste great. It's definitely my go to for all cake/pastries.

We loved working with DiMare's! We ordered our wedding cake from here and it turned out amazing! We came in 11 weeks before our wedding for our cake tasting. We tried so many delicious cakes and picked the cannoli cake. The cake is so moist and the buttercream is so delicious! I had two cake toppers and I was able to give them to DiMare's when we placed the cake order. The cake looked amazing! My husband and I were so happy.

I recently visited Dimare and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The cake I purchased was overwhelmingly sweet to the point of being inedible. When I approached the staff about placing a custom order for a less sweet cake, they flatly refused to accommodate my request. This lack of flexibility and poor customer service was very frustrating. I cannot recommend this bakery and will not be returning. Zero stars.

**Full Review:** The DiMare Pastry Shop, established in 1976 and family-owned, boasts a selection of muffins, danishes, and other breakfast pastries, alongside custom cakes. However, my experience with their cookies was underwhelming. While the bakery may have history, talent, and a wide array of options, I can only base my review on the cookies I sampled, and they were disappointing.
The cookies reminded me of the tins of butter cookies often found in childhood, which frequently ended up filled with sewing supplies rather than cookies. Those cookies were usually subtle, understated, or simply bland. The DiMare Pastry Shop's cookies seemed to follow this tradition, lacking the sharpness, sweetness, and general taste that I expect from a good cookie.
Despite being a family-run business with a rich history, the cookies I tried were dry and lacking in depth. They failed to deliver a memorable or satisfying experience. While butter cookies and more sophisticated sweets can be challenging to perfect, the execution here was not up to par.
I understand that some people might enjoy this style of cookie, but for those who prefer the bolder, sweeter flavors of Insomnia Cookies, Crumbl Cookies, Costco cookies, or even mass-produced staples like Chips Ahoy and Oreos, DiMare's offerings might not hit the mark. So this is so hard to write I do so in tears it was my daughters 2 year anniversary of passing my girlfriend wanted to have some cookies made for our family gathering to celebrate her life and in a short notice were they able to deliver but they came out so beautiful and they became a focal point in the day as my daughter loved the beach and cookies and that’s all we said and thank you for making the day so memorable and special. You can tell they were made with sincere love
