I walked in with my tiny Bichon tucked at my side, thinking I’d grab a quick coffee and maybe a shred of warmth from a local shop. Instead, I was greeted by a woman behind the counter who launched her neck like a periscope and barked, “Excuse me, dogs aren’t allowed!” Not a hello, not a smile, just a full volume rejection before I could even reach the register.
I calmly replied “Thank you” and turned around to leave, only to feel the searing gaze of other employees who had paused their donut-dusting duties to spectate my exit like it was the halftime show.
Let me be clear: 🐾 My Bichon wasn’t roaming or shedding or jumping on counters. ☕ I was planning to PAY for coffee, not ask for a free sample of dignity. 🙄 And if you’re going to enforce a policy, maybe do it with an ounce of professionalism not like I just trespassed into the royal pastry vault.
It’s 2025. People take their pets to Nordstrom and get treated better than I did at this sugar-saturated ego trap.
If you’re looking for actual delight, I suggest walking right past this place and treating yourself somewhere that serves coffee and kindness. You can’t sprinkle powdered sugar over bad energy and call it customer service.

The service lady / cashier at the summer street location, name is Mayra, is the best worker there, competent and makes sure the order gets done right. I've had nothing but problems with the other people that work there, she is the only one that gets my orders correct. I think the manager is very lax at this location, otherwise I love the coffee and donuts.

I am frequent of all locations, i was in line at the drive thru and the guy before me was calling the young lady an idiot because she asked for him to repeat his order meanwhile i know he mumbles and has an island accent. When i was greated by her sunshine smile face at the window i apologized for the animals in our country and she kept her beautiful attitude. Wish i caught her name but i want to say it starts with S. Anyway thanks for keeping it together for us all and the smile on your face i personally left a couple bucks tip and all i had was a healthy black coffee. All u rude boy customers dont talk when you have no face to friends who have no ears an old saying. Smh at some people and thank god for employees at donut delight

Idk what happened here it used to be the best drive thru coffee when it first opened and now like every single time my coffee order is incorrect lol- total bummer : ( but at least there’s dunkin and starbucks nearby so you have better options 👍

The past 3 days my order has been the same. Medium hot coffee , caramel syrup , extra cream , 1 sugar and an BEC on a croissant toasted dark . It was been made wrong or I have been given the wrong coffee. Yesterday i recieved a large coffee and was charged $3.10 , I asked the woman bagging the coffee cup if that was my order, she looked at me and walked away. I asked the cashier in the window , he assured me it was. I knew it wasn’t because the large cup Is white and the medium is purple then I was not given my croissant. I had to ask for it and was given attitude. Today I got a medium with the same order. I was given a medium with cream , no flavor or sugar. The woman at the window today was very nice and engaging and made small talk. It was not her fault as she didn’t make my coffee or talk my order. It is the same male staff every morning taking my order and giving me the wrong order. I will not be returning and not recommending my co workers to go there anymore.
Since this review 4 weeks ago , the service and food have been much better and now my regular order is remembered by one of the staff. Thanks
