Absolutely delicious chaufa - large portions. Great friends. Skip the Yuca though.

I've often passed by Fiesta on Main without trying it until today, hoping it might surprise me with its offerings. Unfortunately, my rating is centered solely on the dish rather than the establishment. Opting for the chaufas as my main course and the potato appetizer (name eludes me), I decided to take my order to go. Upon reaching home and opening both dishes, I found the chaufas to be warm and acceptable, but the potatoes were disappointingly cold. The potato appetizer, drowning in a lackluster cheesy sauce, failed to impress my taste buds. My main gripe lies with the chaufas. While the fried rice itself was passable, the steak it accompanied was incredibly chewy, reminiscent of gum. Its toughness posed a potential choking hazard, triggering unpleasant memories of a festival mishap where I choked on some very rough beef. Recalling the incident, I would strongly advise against ordering the beef with this dish due to its hazardous texture. Overall, I cannot recommend the chaufas from Fiesta on Main.

The grilled chicken was super dry, the white rice was super doughy and looked like chewing gum, and on top of everything, they included the 18% tip on the bill.

Peruvian food is one of my favorite and I love the size of the dishes in this restaurant. Cocktails and appetizers are very good as well. Service is great.

stopped in for a quick dinner last night and it was delicious! the restaurant was pretty empty so we were seated quickly and it's a cute place. i enjoyed the bread and aji here, the aji was really delicious and well balanced. i ordered a half chicken with white rice and maduros and, while the service took quite a while, it was worth it. the seasoning was great and i thought that the heart shaped rice was cute for valentine's day. i tried my boyfriend's chicken breast dish but we both found it to be underseasoned and would not recommend. overall, we will be back!

Unfortunately, I am very upset, the very dry food had no flavor, I ordered a lomo saltado, the rice was hard, the potatoes were old and the meat was sweaty. They have to check the cook. You owners increased the prices and it is not fair that the food is in those conditions. There are many irregularities, I went to the bathroom and everything was filthy, when there are more than 10 waitresses. If they don't change their restaurant, it will go down a lot. I don't plan to return again. And it's a shame.

I recently visited Fiesta on Main and wanted to share my thoughts on the overall dining experience, particularly highlighting a significant issue. Upon ordering, I noticed that the staff didn't inquire about how I preferred my steak, a detail that holds importance to me as I typically enjoy it medium rare. This omission raised a red flag for me, as it's crucial for a restaurant to consider and accommodate customer preferences, especially for a key item like steak. I went on to order the breaded crumbed steak with fries and rice. While the rice was enjoyable, the unseasoned and soggy fries were a bit disappointing. However, the main letdown was the steak itself. The breading was over-fried, and the steak, which wasn't prepared according to my usual preference of medium rare, had a taste that was subpar. It even left an aftertaste reminiscent of the pad used in beef packaging. To gauge my dissatisfaction, I allowed my friends to sample the steak, and their unanimous reaction confirmed that the dish did not meet the expected standard. The lack of inquiry about my preferred doneness, coupled with the disappointing taste of the steak, significantly impacted my overall dining experience. In an effort to salvage the meal, I removed the saturated and oily breading once I noticed its condition. While I appreciate the unique approach to the bread and sauce, the oversight in not asking for steak preferences and the subsequent disappointment in its preparation marred an otherwise potentially enjoyable meal. In conclusion, it's crucial for Fiesta on Main to address such oversights in customer interactions to ensure a more satisfying dining experience.

I went last night , I ordered to go pollo a la brasa with French fries and a salad , they gave me white rice and chicken in the same tray mixed and a salad with onions ( no pollo a la brasa salad) I live in New Haven so I couldn’t do anything about it. Very disappointed.!also bad service in the restaurant.

Forgot my ahi sauce for my 23$ take out lomo soltado, which is like the #1 reason why I love lomo. And you forget to bag the sauce, good one, on top of that lomo Saltado itself was mid. Better off going to Acuario across the street or viva both in Stamford and better.
