Probably the best Chinese take-out in the area, with caveats.I love their tasty recipes, but I'm disappointed that they change from visit to visit. Szechuan chicken and shrimp used to contain diced spicy dried peppers - now it doesn't. Why not? Last night's chicken curry was the best I've ever had. Rich and flavorful with lots of curry and just enough heat. Why isn't it always this good?Consistency is important. Customers find favorite menu items and expect them to be the same every time. Decide on recipes and stick to them, regardless of who's cooking on a particular night.You're doing great - keep it up!

If you asked me yesterday I would have said they are the best take out Chinese in Stamford, and actually my go-to (ever since Blue Ginger started to slip). That was until I had the General Tso's. Granted it was the lunch special but I don't think that means that it's okay for the rice to be undercooked and the sauce to taste like they melted a cough drop and added sugar and caramel. The Wonton Soup was literally water and tasteless wontons. I would like to think that this was just a one off. I'm hoping at least.

I clearly specified i am highly severely allergic to shellfish and all nuts. I ordered lunch through DoorDash and there was SHRIMP IN MY RICE. If i wasn't so careful and didn't completely inspect my food before i ate It i would've been in anaphylactic shock and could've died. Absolutely unacceptable from a food establishment.

Very disappointed. I called to order ribs and the lady said we don't have BBQ ribs but we have boneless ribs. And what I got was chipped pork skin. Don't like being lied to just to make a sale.

Ordered from here because of all the good reviews. What a mistake. I had chicken and cashews. It was greasy and mostly filled with zucchini. My husband had general taos chicken. His was just ok. We shared egg drop soup, which was greasy and tasteless. The food made us both sick. We won’t order from there again. Not recommended.

Moo Goo Gai Pan chicken light, fresh, well-seasoned & Wonton Special Soup, wontons are too think but overall very good Chinese choice for Stamford with good Covid protocols. Can see inside they are wearing masks and they practice contactless pick-up.Online ordering bug tells you order is ready in 10 minutes on your confirmation. Should change that to 25-30 minutes. Good food takes longer than 10 minutes,Blue Ginger and Peking are very good too, but First Wok Chinese of Glenbrook currently prepares the best Chinese in Stamford CT.

This has been my place since moving to CT but today I'm not sure what I received. The brown rice had white mushy stuff in it and when I called the response was "that's how it is." I have ordered from them at least 20 times and today I was truly disappointed and couldn't even eat the food. I guess I will have to find a new place!
