To start my experience my wife and I sat outside. We barely go out because we own a restaurant as well and barely have time to go out and enjoy dinner. Order an oyster sample, a steak & some drinks. 2 out of 8 oyster were really bad. Then, the steak was definitely frozen and not fresh. The service itself; I have no words.
Hope you guys will improved quality and service for future customers

Creative seafood menu with the fresh classics you would expect. Cristian at the bar was fantastic.

This is a very good restaurant. For the appetizer, we ordered the Fried Montauk Calamari, which was excellent. For the entrées, we chose the Naked Fish option: grilled salmon with a side of mashed potatoes, Baja fish tacos, and Black Squid Ink Linguini. All were delicious. However, for the Naked Fish, it would be better to include two sides. The portion of mashed potatoes was huge, and I recommend allowing the option to choose two smaller sides instead, so people can order both a carb and a veggie with their fish, for example. The atmosphere is very nice, and the outdoor seating is lovely. I highly recommend it!

Food was horrible. we ordered bouillabaisse and black seabass which was chef specials.
Black seabass came with spinach no sauce or anything. Black seabass was like plastic, super dry and bland. no salt, no flavor. it was horrible. worst worst worst dinner experience ever i had my life.
Bouillabaisse was so salty and was nothing special about. I’m very disappointed, and the service was not great at all .

We are new to the area and have eaten here a bunch of times. We haven't eaten anything that has not been really good. Most of the servers are extremely pleasant and helpful. It's quickly become our “go to” in Stamford.

Service was slow and non existent. We were seated in the outdoor patio area and we're forgotten about. The wrong drink came out, food was slow to come out and when it did, the mashed potatoes were cold. We sent them back to get heated up and they never returned....and the restaurant wasnt even busy!! The worst dining experience in a long time. Will not return.

My first time going to this establishment and I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and polite. I was a little frustrated when I first arrived in area of restaurant. I'm not from area and it took awhile to find parking. There was a garage and lot behind it but they were packed. It's an area with quite a few restaurants and businesses so it was very busy. But once I settled it was nothing but pleasant from then on. Food was great , service was a tad slower than I'm used to. In defense of staff the place filled up rather quickly by it they handled it gracefully. I will definitely return and recommend

Fantastic place. Having not only lived in Stamford and across the US coastlines, as well as international travel, and now settling in Stamford, my dad, my wife and I give five stars on the seafood side. The food is outstanding, the menu options unique, and consideration is given to bar noise when enjoying food and conversation. I am not a desert fan, but this place keeps changing my mind. I will keep my trend of having visited 5 times in last 3 months alive! Maybe add a special dish or sauce per month could help.

I am sorry to say that my favorite waiter Gustavo will no longer be working at Fish. Honestly, he was the best part of the restaurant. I will follow him wherever he goes. Look out Gustavo. I'm coming to Rye.

The food is still top notch! Unfortunatley, the servuce has dropped considerably. We waited for a lengthy time to even have a server come to the table. No one, checked to see if we wanted more drinks or clear the table when we were finished with apps etc.... The kitchen at least was still on top of things with food coming out a reasonable rate. The servers were not stopping to check in on us or tables near us. At one point there were 4 of them just hanging by the hostess area talking. We were still waiting to actually order food and drinks. I had to go up to the hostess to ask her to get a server to our table. If the food wasn't so good, I would never return. I used to be in the hospitality biz and I am a very generous tipper. We left only 10 % because it was such a unpleasant experience.

Fish is not what it used to be, at least not the night we were there. The service was slow and bad. Almost nonexistent. The waitress disappeared. The food was good, not great.

Terrific meal on Saturday for lunch. The menu was extensive and everyone in our party loved their meal. We will be back
