I had wanted to try this place for a bit now due to passing by and finding the menu interesting. Ultimately, I don't think whatever it is being attempted comes together. None of the food was anything I would eat again. The quality of everything was subpar down to the ginormous caviar on the tots to the sliced cheese product on the smashburger. Nothing was impressive in terms of taste. The people providing the service were nice. The place was clean. It's weird to me that they don't have paper napkins. It's not a place I could recommend as food quality and taste are highly important to me.
Delicious food, but I expected more variety of Aussie beers. Dining room is an open space leading to higher noise level. Service was excellent.
We've been there a number of times and have enjoyed it. This was a disappointment. Food & service could be better. Hope it was just an off night for them
Great food, quick service, the spiced pineapple margarita may just be the best cocktail I've ever had, can definitely see why it's award winning
Food was horrible and we could barely finish our drinks from the bar, service was also super pushy and felt like we were being forced to order and eat as quick as possible.
I celebrated my birthday here with friends and had such an amazing time! The food and drinks were amazing, the service was wonderful and they even made me a special dessert and sang happy birthday. I can't wait to go back again.
My friends and I had a great time at Flinders! The server was super nice and made me feel special for the pre bday festivities! Definitely would go again.
The crispy duck on sushi rice was a nice bite. Everything else was underwhelming. I remember this place being better. Won't be going back anytime soon.
Welcoming and attentive service made this business luncheon comfortable and productive, but the food was a little disappointing. The half soup / half sandwich offering is a good value, nicely presented, and creatively prepared. The soup should have been hotter, and the chicken sandwich had chunks of sour rhubarb and a drippy sauce that made it too messy to eat without a fork. Super friendly service and a great vibe will make me want to try again and order something different.
Flinders Lane is a gem of a place and the service and manager were just wonderful. Do get the brussel sprouts. The best and not laden with sugar. Just good flavor and pickled onions. the best. Also, the burgers with carmelized onions was perfect. My husband loved the Elk special.

We had a wonderful time and the service was outstanding. The Flinders team made our party feel welcome and special.
Visited with my wife for an anniversary dinner- was congratulated by the host upon entering, and my wife and I were provided with a complimentary glass of Clairette de Die at the table. We had the crispy duck on sushi rice as as appetizer, the wagyu burger and wagyu steak frites for main course, and the sticky date pudding for dessert- all were delicious and cooked well! Good bar selection (great hazelnut Old Fashioned) as well! Would definitely recommend!
Flinders Lane is always a good time! The food is always so good and the staff are great. Don't skip this place.
Very small portions. The crunchy duck rice app was chewy and over cooked. Brussel salad was very very dry. Steak frites was a tiny tiny piece of steak with mostly fries. Disappointed but the steak did taste good. Quite pricey
The food was delicious, a little pricey but worth it. Great menus and wonderful staff. We came as a family and everyone found great options and enjoyed themselves.
