This gets 4/5 simply because this place is expensive in my opinion. Overpriced.. I guess it's because it's close to NY , so that makes sense in a way! Anyways the food was good except the Rasta pasta I ordered, that' damn sure isn't any Rasta pasta I've ever tasted back in NY. Other than that the music is 10/10 , the vibe is 10/10. There's always entertainment going on in there. One of my fav Jamaican spots hands down.

Don't be fooled about the location in Downtown Stamford. The jerk chicken is legit!!!!!!! I was surprised myself but I ate that half chicken with no issues lol!!!! Shar mixed the rum and spicy sauce on the chicken and it was a perfect mix. Would definitely recommend!!

I wanted this to be great.... We ordered takeout one night and took it back to our hotel room. The jerk wings were not fresh. Warmed up and probably from lunch. Jerk salad was good not great. Grilled shrimp was decent, but the rice was also old and not fresh. Big disappointment.

This place is a hidden gem! It's located right in downtown Stamford close to the train station next door to the courtyard by Marriott and residence inn. Parking garages all near by and this is definitely a must to try. I've been here 2 times at night and one time in the afternoon. The Jamaican food is on point, delicious and plentiful. Definitely worth the money, either bring your appetite or you will take food with you home. The ambience is great, the theme is Jamaican island the hospitality, the service, the music and flavor is all there. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. You definitely feel like you made a new friend. I highly recommend.

Delicious Jamaican food. Cooked and seasoned well. It definitely has an authentic taste to it. The food came quickly right on time when they said it would. I ordered through ubereats, and the guy came on a bike but it was still hot. :-)I had 1/2 chicken, rice and peas and a side order of sweet plantains. (I didn't know some came with the meal). Portions for the money are good. I highly recommend. I will have to stop in physically to get a better sense of the menu but the small taste I had was amazing.

Great service, great food, awesome vibes. Wasn't busy when I went stopped in, Eddie was very helping to make a decision on what to get. I started off with the saltfiah fritters which I was pleasantly amazed by the sizes and they tasted amazing. Then I got the j*** salmon burger which I ask Eddie what side would he recommend to which he responded yuca fries, dare I say the choices were awesome. I loved everything everything tasted great. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in town. Eddie was and absolute delight to have a my server.

the food was good maybe a bit pricey but the service was bad we went in and waited to be seated to realize it wasn't a table service restaurant. we sat down and stood up to order our food and the person working there said if you want table service you need to order a drink. I understand if there is no table service. But either way I'm still tipping for you to take my food to my table. Seemed very backwards maybe the waiter there was the bartender as well oh well.
