Neighborhood place, my first time there. Really nice staff, giant menu. Got arugula salad with grilled shrimp (excellent shrimp perfectly grilled), linguine with broccoli garlic and olive oil. Check the photo, thatś all you need to know :) Oh yeah, homemade bread.

Food was ok, most of it tasted as if it was cooked from frozen. Buffalo Cauliflower was a total dissapointment.

The pizza is fantastic. I have been going there since 1977 and it’s always delicious. It hasn’t changed, ever. That’s why I love it so much and keep going back.

Went there for a quick pizza and were not disappointed.
We were probably the first ones for that day, place was nice and clean and the staff welcoming.
Pizza had a light and airy crust which was perfect. The mozzarella sticks and the canoli were good as well.
Will definitely go there next time we are in Stamford.

I was aware that this restaurant had new ownership - we stopped in last night. There were a few minor menu changes, but overall many things were the same. The waiter, for example, who had been there a long time is still there and is very pleasant and efficient. We tried the chicken parmigiana and the tilapia Francese, both were prepared the same and came with the choice of salad or pasta. The salad dressing is great and the bread is always right out of the oven. Management/Owner was present and swung by our table to check on things. One thing that was different is that they offered two types of non-alcoholic beers. Since I am the driver, I like that the restaurant made these products available. My only criticism would be the Muzak-like service (I think) which pipes in covers of popular songs. John the Baker could use a music upgrade that includes music where the original artist is singing a famous tune, not a Karaoke grade singer. Parking can be a challenge, but we always have found a spot on the narrow side of the restaurant. Overall, we like this restaurant and plan on returning frequently.

This restaurant is a true gem. From the food to the service, this place is a must-go. I am a regular customer and can say without a doubt that their pasta is unmatched. I get the rigatoni with meat sauce, which is divine. The sauce to pasta ratio is perfect and will make your mouth water. This review would not be complete without mentioning one of the waiters, Willy. He is incredibly pleasant and never fails to serve without a smile. What more could you ask for?! Will continue to go to this wonderful restaurant and encourage everyone in the surrounding area to give it a try.

My father and I were looking for an open place to grab a slice after soccer and was recommended this spot. It was a great choice. There is a huge variety of options, the staff couldn't have been nicer, and they let us customize our own meal with no issue. We decided on getting a pizza and it only took about 5 minutes. The pizza here is now one of my favorites and I can not wait to come back. 10/10 highly recommend!

I don’t like zucchini, but I shared some fried zucchini with my daughter and it was absolutely delicious. The extra cheese pizza was also a plus. Great food, great service and cute little place in CT. Would definitely go back if I was there again. 10/10

Went for an early lunch so it was pretty quiet. The food was great, eggplant and chicken Parm! The bread was toasted and the salad fresh. Cannoli was lighter than the usual thick cream but actually delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely will return
