The food just seemed very cheap. I've been coming here for a while, but the quality hasn't been as good lately. The meat was chewy, and the food didn't seem fresh. What puzzled me was that whenever I tried to order something, the waitress would try to change our minds, saying she thinks we wouldn't like it. I'd like to give this restaurant another chance, but my experiences here haven't been enjoyable. I recommend trying the other Kampei in Stamford where the food is excellent.

Atmosphere and Service were horrible, food ok. No prices on menus, sloppy taping over. Servers yelling to each other across dining room, and from back to customer in front. Servers forgot the wantons, forgot the mustard, forgot the rice, didn't come back to check if all ok, forgot receipt. Yikes.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough! The staff is great, so welcoming, and so appreciative of their customers. The food is delicious and always so fresh. They are very good with my allergy to gluten and serving me food that is safe for me to eat. The owner is so sweet and I always look forward to seeing her. The sushi is my favorite in the area by far!
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free soy sauce for sushi and can also make some dishes gluten free, such as fried rice and rice noodle dishes.

Ordered the sesame chicken for take out right around closing. When I got home the plastic top had multiple holes in it (looked like it melted) and when I cut into the chicken it was raw. I called the next day (since they were closed) and I was told to bring the order back in. I said I threw it out but took pictures. The woman on the phone told me to go into the dumpster and take it out otherwise I wouldn’t get a refund. She can keep my $20. Stay away, better food and service in nearby places.

As someone who deeply appreciates a good meal, this place was like a dream.I arrived around 7pm, and the place was surprisingly empty. At first, I was a bit skeptical, but hunger won over, and I decided to stay. Best decision ever. I went all out with the fried menu – starting with the egg rolls and fried pork dumplings. Each bite was a little piece of heaven, perfectly crispy and just so satisfying.The fried noodles? Oh, they were a revelation! Best I've ever had, hands down. The duck sauce was the perfect companion – tangy, sweet, just right. I kept munching on them, savoring every crunchy bite.The service was another high point. The waitress was like an angel, always there with a refill of hot tea just when I needed it. I just wanted to devour her! To add a touch of balance (or so I told myself), I ordered the Magical roll. Spoiler alert: it was as delightful as everything else.Honestly, this place is a must-visit, unless you're watching your diet (which, clearly, I am not). Everything about Kampei 2 screams indulgence and satisfaction.I'm giving this place a full-on, no-hesitation five stars. If you're like me, someone who lives for delicious, soul-satisfying meals, you've got to check out Kampei 2.

Vanessa, the owners always provides great friendly service with a smile. The food is always fresh and delicious. Fish for the sushi is brought fresh by the owner daily, and the quality is amazing. Young Chow Fried Rice is amazing, so is everything else.. The Best Asian Food in Stamford! Can't ask for more, they are my #1 Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food dishes.
