We always go to Kashi and it’s been usually good but these last couple times have been extremely disappointing so not sure what’s going on. Last time I ordered, the food was almost an hour late. I called and the first time they said it was on the way then 30 minutes later I called again and they said they just handed it to the courier. Didn’t even offer an apology. Then this time we ordered and the regular rolls all came falling apart, covered poorly with rice. Then the dragon roll was 99% avocado so it’s like we paid almost $20 for some sliced avocado and rice. I hope they step their game back up.

Our server, whose name we regrettably didn't catch, was the highlight of our evening. He was not only remarkably kind but also infused our dining experience with a delightful sense of humor, making our time there truly enjoyable. His impeccable customer service and attention to detail were second to none, and he undoubtedly deserves recognition, if not a promotion, for his extraordinary efforts.The food was another major highlight of my group’s visit to Kashi. It arrived promptly, which was impressively quick, and the presentation was visually stunning, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. The quality and flavor of the dishes we tried were outstanding, contributing to a memorable dining experience.Opting to dine at Kashi during restaurant week was part of my broader initiative to explore Stamford more thoroughly, as I often find myself dining in the city. This visit surprised me and exceeded my expectations, as there were other places where I was disappointed. I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. The combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and the atmosphere has convinced me to add Kashi to my list of favorite restaurants and to recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality dining or a date night experience in Stamford.

I went to Kashi for the first time with my friend and it was so nice!! The vibe is so cool and the music is great. The food was DELICIOUS. We came for restaurant week. The bisque was fabulous. Our server, Monica was the best. She was so attentive, personable, and helpful. Shoutout to Monica !!! Will be back!

Great spot for sushi! This place looks upscale but still affordable. The sushi tasted good, drinks were delicious! It was a very comfortable atmosphere. They give our fancy take out bags that are like insulated totes. I went for winter restaurant week.

The food was delicious. I happened during the stamford-downtown event, three courses for $40. The rolls flavors were well balenced and well presented. The hot sour soup was great. Crab Mountain was the only thing that was not over the top, but it was still pretty good. But the American dream and sweet 16 rolls were phenomenal. Steven was very helpful and attentive, but I could not have asked for a better dinner.

Friendly wait staff and roomy restaurant with fun cocktails. The sushi is a bit expensive for what you get though, and I wish they had some non-spicy specialty rolls. If you're meeting friends for casual sushi this certainly gets the job done, but the sushi won't blow you away by any means. Appreciate that they have some menu items that are non-sushi.

Generally good food although they messed up my order twice recently. Pineapple fried rice with chicken is not the same without the pineapple. Maybe I should keep a can in reserve. Delivery is fast and they don't charge crazy service fees like some. Give them a try!

Take out is delectable here! Not only do they give you beautiful bags and silverware but the sushi is delicious and they have options for sushi with brown rice. The presentation alone is worth it!

I came here for my niece's birthday w/ the fam. It's her go to when she is in Stamford.Waiter was so nice,patient,& attentive for a big party.The staff came out & sang happy birthday!Food tasted good. I ordered miso soup,California rolls & chicken lo mien.The decor was cute! The ambiance felt low key & pleasant! Parking is hard to find b/c it is in downtown Stamford. Had to pay a parking lot right around the corner from the restaurant.

I live in Georgia and I set up a surprise dinner for my daughter via the phone. I spoke with Susie and she was excellent, she communicated with me via phone and text. She sent me reminders of my confirmation, she asked what the dinner was for and my daughter's name. When I arrived in Stamford Connecticut that Friday it was late so they were closed. Saturday morning I went and met Susie and some of the staff who allowed us to set up few hours prior to the dinner. The restaurant was gorgeous, the atmosphere was great. When we go back that night, she had a menu print with my daughters name on it wishing her a happy birthday. The food was excellent, the staff were excellent and was very attentive. The only problem that I had was that due to us not having the same menu for the kids their food didn't come out right away. We got our appetizers before kids ate in which we end up giving kids some of the appetizers so they could start eating. I would definitely go back whenever I'm in town again. Thank you Susie for all your help, service and attention to details. This was truly a memorable night for us all.
