Sometimes my breakfast sandwich is amazing. Other times like today, I wish I didn’t order it! I always ask for extra bacon and pay for extra bacon, but today there was what felt like less than the regular amount. This seems to happen more frequently than I would like. The sandwiches here are great, but the inconsistency leaves you slightly frustrated at times. This has happened multiple more times and it is the same person who is unable to understand what EXTRA BACON means!...

Having worked in a bagel store as a kid, I can tell you this is how old-school bagels are made. Boiling vat and seeded and half baked on wood boards in a rotating oven. The flavor reflects that. Yum.

I stopped here for a bagel sandwich because I heard they are the best bagels in town. I'm sorry, but you must have some terrible bagels around here if that's true. Mind you... it certainly wasn't a bad bagel... much better than the mass-produced bagels you get at the supermarket or bagel franchise stores. But, it was nowhere near the list of best bagels I've had. What struck me most strongly was that there was no flat top grille to be seen in the store....
