Went to this cafe around 4:30pm on a Saturday. The staff is super nice! I ordered a coffee and matcha, both were pretty ok. Coffee tasted burnt and matcha originally had a bad taste. I also got the churros, they were also pretty ok. I got the dulce de leche and Nutella sauces, the sauces were what made the churros much better. Loved the atmosphere of the cafe!

This is the spot!! Love their Macha and Bacon Egg and Cheese from there! Definitely recommend. The people that work there are awesome, feels really welcoming as soon as you walk in. Once you become a regular it feels like family

So glad we have Lorca in Stamford. The coffee is amazing I actually buy it for my coffee machine at home too, and the atmosphere is great. Perfect for a solo time or to meet up with a friend. Staff are friendly and always smiling. There isn't really another cafe in Stamford that you can just chill at and enjoy your coffee and have a quick bite like at Lorca. Another great thing I noticed based on little tiny stickers here and there that they seem to be standing on the right side of history ✌🏻 🍉

Love this place best seasonal drinks awesome baristas and delicious food they also are great people , some people may leave bad reviews because Lorca stands for humanity that I guess doesn’t align with some negative reviewers political beliefs ! That’s so wrong . I’m so happy to have them in our community ❤️

The beverages are definitely subpar, and the tables are dirty and poorly maintained. There are also hateful political messages on display, which made me feel unsafe. The drinks aren’t good, and the environment is unclean. I do not recommend this place.
Do yourself a favor and do not order a southwest sandwich. It is the worst sandwich I’ve had in my life. I give them two stars because the late was ok.

Started off by getting cut in line. Paid an arm and a leg for a sub par bacon egg and cheese because everything else I wanted was sold out. I wanted to try a new place instead of cooking my own breakfast and I was let down. I would’ve had a more healthy well rounded breakfast at home for a fraction of the price. Looked like the kind of place that would be amazing.

No Gmail! New owners have changed the wifi terms to include monitoring and filtering of internet use. As such, I can't access common websites like Gmail or Yahoo mail. Ebay is banned so my business can't work. Socials have been banned like Reddit and Nextdoor. I'm not sure the value of doing this. New owners also own at least two other businesses on Bedford Street. It seems like they want to monopolize the this popular area of downtown. I'm very disappointed that I need to find another coffee shop to use since I go out of my way to come there. I was a customer since they opened over 10 years ago. Coffee is good and warm but now mixed with cold corporatism. It's pretty shameful since I enjoy the staff and products, but it's impossible for me to use the space now.

Coffee is fantastic tasting! Nice and funky coffee shop in downtown Stamford in Bedford St. Interesting food menu, although I only took a drink this time.. quite a lot of seating inside and outside by the street.

When I arrived, I asked to use the restroom. While I understand it may be maintained by the building rather than the store itself, it was unfortunately very dirty. When I returned to the coffee shop to pick up my drink, I also noticed that the store floors, counters, and surrounding areas were not clean.
I could see that your staff was constantly busy and working hard, so I don’t place any blame on them. In fact, that’s why I strongly suggest either adding more staff to help manage the workload during the day or ensuring there is dedicated cleaning support, especially for deep cleaning after hours.
To be honest, the overall condition made me hesitant to even drink my order, as the mess left me with concerns about the environment.
I wanted to share this feedback because I do value the store and the staff, and I hope it can help improve the experience for customers moving forward.
