I usually only go here a day or two out of the year for the Oktoberfest specials. This year I was mostly disappointed. Very limited seasonal beer selection. Had to drink Sam Adam's Oktoberfest vs something more authentic. No big steins or boots. The weiner schnitzel wasn't as good. Cheaper breadcrumb, not very tender, almost undercooked. The sides were spot on though, the spaetzel was great as were the carrots and cabbage. Had the sausage appetizer and was waaaay over priced for what I got. Small portion and cheap supermarket sausages. Overall, it was overpriced, the quality less than prior years, bad beer selection, and just not a good deal. Very disappointed as this had been a tradition for the past decade or so.

I ordered a Ceasar salad with shrimp and I picked it up. The portion was very small with only four shrimp, it was not very tasty either, the shrimp was over cooked. I called to ask if there was a mistake the man who answered the phone said thanks for calling and he hung up. I will never go back there again as they are also not customer focused.

On the road to Boston, and stopped at this place. Don't be fooled by the exterior look, very impressive menu and drink selection! We really like what we had ordered - vineyard salad & yellow fin tuna covered by sesame. Devious and great value for the $!

Small neighbor pub. Not much atmosphere for dining. No fizz in soda. Roast beef in french dip tasted and smelled stale. Coffee as expensive as a beer! Other food was fine. Servers were very friendly and they were very attentive.

10 * * * * *If I could give it a 10 I would.We've been eating here for years & I've honestly never had a bad experience.On the contrary, We've always had fantastic service & the food is delicious...!In March2020 we used take-out service & every time we've been to pick up, there is someone wiping/disinfecting.We've only done take out since March 2020 & really nothing has changed.The Big Burger is my GO-TO. Chicken Tenders are hers.Sliders, Shepard's Pie, Crab Cakes, Swedish Meatballs, Nachos.....OCTOBERFEST......! YES Octoberfest. The List goes on.I highly recommend eating at/picking up MacKenzie's.
