The food overall was good, though the burger patties could use some seasoning. The server was new and a bit frantic but very nice and got everything we needed. There’s a dart board, TVs with sports, and perfect volume music (enough to fill silence but not too loud to cover conversations).

Without a doubt the best wings and Guinness in Stamford! Murphy's is an absolute institution and my favorite bar in town by a mile. The staff are so lovely and the food is surprisingly good (and cheap), especially the grilled wings which have no right being as good as they are. Cheap beers, excellent selection and just all round good old school vibes.

Saturday lunch was relaxing. Cheers to the weekend and Ladies who lunch.? Caesar salad w focaccia crouton?miso marinated cod, bok choy, shiitake and shishito peppers?orecchiette short rib ragu, pancetta, grated cheeseThe restaurant was pretty with a nice atmosphere although I had mixed feelings about the food.My friends pasta dish was overly sauced and one of they key components described on menu wasn’t included. She hadn’t remembered until I pointed it after we left when I reviewed my photos. Her dish had way too much tomato sauce. While they offer lunch the menu wasn’t much different than dinner with same pricing. The Caesar salad was good. O would have appreciated more than one tiny piece of high quality anchovy and not such a large piece of croutons. My miso marinated cod was ok.

Absolutely a traditional Irish bar and they keep it that way by not trying to be anything else. The food is excellent the bartenders are excellent and the owners are great people. Great job guys love it. I only wish that other places would have true bartenders that pay attention period take a lesson from these guys they've got it down pat

Ordered to pick up for take out. Despite waiting for almost an hr for my burger with sweet potato fries I have to say my burger was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time...perfectly charred at the right temperature... the young gentleman in the front was also very nice, kept apologizing for the longer than normal wait. I Totally understood cause it was super bowl day...safe to say I'll be ordering pretty soon again.

I’m writing this as a local resident who lives around the corner. Went to this place tonight to support a friend whose grandmother was just diagnosed terminally ill. I sat down to order beer when I received a passing glance from the bartender, Tony. He made somewhat of a remark like “what do you want” to which I stammered a bit as I was taken aback and replied “Allagash”. He poured the beers and took my card coming back because it was prepaid. He asked me rudely if it was prepaid and then gave it back to me as I suggested Apple Pay to which he staunchly didn’t accept and also rudely responded to. I’m a local, I would’ve just walked to my house and got another card but my friend put me on his tab. After this is finished, I make one joke at the bar to which I receive a dirty look from this same bartender. At this point I had enough. I cash appd my friend enough for a couple of rounds and left resigning to never enter again. After ten years in hospitality management, I can honestly say Tony, you’re terrible at this. Get a different job. You’re old and washed up if you treat a customer this way.Edit:1 Star to 3 StarsDuring the day I went again,Breakfast burger was banging and Alex at the bar went above and beyond. Will continue to update as I’d like to see them with 5 stars.Thank you Alex!
