During our visit to Stamford, we treated ourselves to an early dinner and were delighted with authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine.
To top it off, we tried an Indian beer that paired perfectly and added to the experience. The warm hospitality of the server made our evening even more enjoyable. A truly memorable dinner outing with great food, drinks, and company
Among many dishes I enjoyed Mashala Dosha more

This place is the best!! Prices are great, the food is AMAZING (I recommend the coconut mango curry for the non spicy food crowd), and the staff is really sweet. The whole restaurant gives you such good vibes and it’s very welcoming here. I have no complaints ever, ever time I go here. :)

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for the past four years, consistently appreciating the quality of food and service. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been extremely disappointing and has forced me to rethink my loyalty.
I had placed an order well in advance to Ramesh (he seems to be the manager) and had told him thrice, he said he would make it. On the night of the order, he did not respond so I called the restaurant and then I was informed that the order is not made and will not be made. So I spoke to Ramesh directly as I felt insulted in front of my guests. Ramesh, instead of apologizing, he just said that I should stop placing future orders. He was very rude and abusive. I was told directly by him that he would no longer prepare food for me and that I should stop ordering altogether. This was shocking, disheartening, and frankly humiliating, especially given my years of support and positive patronage.
As a paying customer who has been returning regularly for nearly half a decade, I expected to be treated with respect and courtesy. Instead, I was made to feel unwelcome and dismissed without any explanation or attempt at a constructive solution. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply discouraging.
Restaurants thrive on long-term customer relationships, and this abrupt refusal to serve a loyal diner reflects very poorly on management and hospitality standards. Regardless of how good the food might be, treatment like this makes it impossible to recommend the establishment to others.
Ramesh is also very sexist, many of my female friends stopped coming to restaurant because of him.
I hope the management reflects seriously on this incident and reconsiders how they engage with loyal customers in the future.

This kosher eatery seems underrated to me. Vegetarian Indian food made by natives using traditional recipes means you’re going to enjoy the end product. Especially if they can comply with kosher requirements!
Wait staff was friendly enough and helpful in accommodating our requests and inquiries. Water is served without ice, Americans beware! Portions are very good, so don’t let your eyes get too big, choose wisely or prepare for leftovers!
Get the lentil donuts! They’re savory and come with dipping sauces. Quite the treat!

Delicious authentic Indian cuisine that happens to be kosher. Their hot sauce is so good I asked for some to go. Will definitely return soon.
PS: place could use a good paint job

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids and strollers. Very low key humble place with superb food.

*A Culinary Nightmare*
If you enjoy spitting out a third of what you chew, then this place is for you. It feels like this restaurant actively hates its customers. The lentil balls were hard, dry, and coated in whole peppercorns—who does that? The dishes were riddled with unchewable stalks, bay leaves, and whole peppers, as if the chef was saying, "Oh, you want authentic ethnic food? Let's drown it in spices for these clueless thrill-seekers. They'll think it's exotic."
This food is not just bad; it's offensive. Your restaurant should not exist. What a disgrace.
