The food is great and the staff members are very kind. My personal favorite roll to order here is spicy salmon, and the scallion pancakes are good as well

Ordered takeout from here last night and was appalled just how disgusting everything was. Our usual spots were closed for Monday so I decided to give Pearl East a shot...and to my dismay I reaffirmed why I had not stepped foot in here for many years.
The Mongolian Beef was absolutely disgusting. The Orange Shrimp was unedible, the Fried Rice was burnt and excessively oily. I can go on and on...I definitely will not EVER be returning...Yuck

Well, the owner is listening, they updated the interior and it looks beautiful. The food they improved as well. It was hot and very tasty. The only thing is the waitress was very fast and not very friendly towards my elderly mom. Do better !!! There are alot of restaurant options out there, we picked to eat at your restuarant.. Show your best self !!

I have friends who live in Stamford. We have ordered from here a number of times. Portions are plentiful. Great value and great taste. I highly recommend.

We were originally heading to Peter Chang’s (now permanently closed). Yelp was down, so I had to rely on Google Maps—and I’m glad I did!

Value: Great—$$ with huge portions
The menu is cleverly divided into thirds: New York–style Chinese food, Traditional Chinese food, and Japanese dishes (including an authentic sushi chef).
The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. Portions were so large we had to take a ton home, which means another full meal tomorrow. Usually when I eat at a Chinese restaurant I leave a little hungry and end up grabbing dessert somewhere else—not tonight. I’m stuffed and satisfied.

Fresh fish in sushi and veggies in Chinese dishes. Great quality and value based on over 100 visits.

“I paid a $2 tip, but the customer service lady lied to me about tipping. She said I could only pay 18%, 20%, or 25% tips. I felt so embarrassed in front of my friends. I ended up paying 18%, which was $13.32. But when I checked the receipt, it said ‘custom tip’! What a shame, especially since I’ve been going there for years. Shame on you!”

Pearl in Stamford has quickly become my go-to for Chinese food. I’ve now ordered twice, and both times the food was super tasty, full of flavor, and noticeably lighter and fresher than what you get from standard takeout spots. This is not your greasy, generic takeout—the quality really stands out. On my most recent order, I had the sweet and sour soup, noodle soup, beef, and chicken dishes—all were excellent. Having tried at least six Chinese takeout restaurants since moving back to Stamford two years ago, Pearl easily earns 5 stars. Highly recommended if you’re looking for well-prepared, flavorful dishes that don’t leave you feeling weighed down. I will try the Sushi next.
Ordered the Shrimp and Chicken in Garlic Sauce (listed as spicy) for lunch takeout. Spice level was much lower than I expected and the Chicken with Mixed Vegetables order was almost tasteless. The restaurant needs to review its spice ingredients in the kitchen. Using authentic dried or fresh chili peppers might help for their spicy dishes.
Their food is like the interior of their restaurant—BLAND! And don’t park in that back parking lot. Super tight! I can’t recommend this.
Food was ok...service was poor..had a young guy wait on us...seemed to not want to..my friend asked if they had a certain item and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know"..not like it was busy..no one in there at the time.
