Unfortunately, the food industry has declined to such an extent that it seems some restaurant managers and servers have become indifferent to maintaining proper kitchen hygiene. On June 21st, I ordered spaghetti with meatballs from REMOS Restaurant in Stamford. However, when I returned home and took my first bite, I was met with a truly unpleasant surprise: a long strand of hair had found its way into my mouth. It was utterly revolting.
Frustrated, I called the restaurant to speak with the manager about the issue. To my dismay, the person who answered the phone informed me that the manager was unavailable. I took a deep breath and explained the situation to her, describing the incident in detail. Incredibly, instead of offering an apology, she asked me to specify the color of the hair. Can you believe that? I felt dismissed and belittled, as if my complaint was not legitimate. I pride myself on being honest and would never fabricate such a story.
It was infuriating to think about the time I wasted picking up my order, paying for an unsatisfactory meal, and ultimately not enjoying what should have been a pleasant dinner. As a result of this experience, I can confidently say that REMOS will never see my business again. Their lack of attention to cleanliness and customer service is beyond unacceptable, and I can hardly comprehend how they continue to operate in such a manner.

As you can see, I like this place a lot. One of the first times I went to Remo’s was for my sixteenth birthday, I am now about to turn 22! I’ve lived in the Fairfield/Westchester County area my entire life, and have frequented NYC since birth. Remo’s pizza, specifically their margherita pizza with pepperoni holds the highest place in my heart when it comes to pizza. Whenever I would come back from college for breaks or visits, I ask to go to Remo’s! Their other food is great, and my friends and family and I love coming back. The staff is super friendly too :) Also, my friend who has celiac’s never had a problem ordering! Thank you Remo’s!!

Remo’s gives great neighborhood Italian vibes in downtown Stamford . Nothing fake, nothing too snooty or fancy, just good Italian food. We had a small cheese pie (excellent crispy crust, not too greasy or salty), sausage and peppers (excellent red sauce to dip bread in), and the carbonara (so rich and flavorful). Our server was Diaa and he was very friendly, super fast getting us our drinks and food and was attentive, but never made us feel rushed which I think is exactly what you want.

My friend and I had a large pizza for lunch, that was delicious. Service was excellent! I took a small cheese pizza home for my sister, which she found delicious and she is very picky when it comes to pizza.

Grabbed a cheese pie for lunch and it was delicious. Sauce was on point - flavorful without being overpowering. Good amount of cheese, crispy crust with right amount of charring on the bottom. Overall a solid pizza. The grilled chicken was nicely seasoned and grilled perfectly. Very friendly staff as well.

We pick up their food often and today I’m so disappointed with their wing. They did not remove the feathers at all it is so disgusting.

Went for pizza lunch yesterday. Wonderful NY style pizza that we miss so much! Very friendly service! Ordered the penne vodka to go. Live out of town and needed dinner later after our 3 hour drive home. . The absolute best vodka sauce I’ve had in my life! Unbelievable. Wish a could order and have it shipped to my house! Highly recommend
